All we can do is hope that this staff can recruit lights out.
Our schedule is a little better next year.
We get BYU at home instead of WVA.
Miss State at home.
S.Carolina at home.
Good chance at 8-4 next year if we can shore up defense with some grad transfers.

13 graduating SRs. All are back and will have another year to get bigger and better. 25 or whatever new players. Maybe a grad transfer or two in there. When they get players they will get better.

in 2006, Alabama was 6-7. In Saban's first year (2007) they where 6-6. 7-6 with bowl win. He could't coach that year or he had no players? Yet he inherited better then what Pruitt did. In 2008, Saban was 12-2, lost to Florida in SEC Championship game and lost to Utah in Bowl. Who expected Pruitt to be better then Saban in his first year with way less players then Saban inherited? Saban inherited a ton of NFL players. Things will get better. Just chill

I believe we'll field a good team when we get better players. I like all the players on this team. I believe they play hard and are getting coached for the first time in Knoxville. But outside of a handful of players there's not a lot of talent on this team.

The officiating is not helping and seems to be horrific this year against Tennessee. Seems like there's been at least one call in every game that was really bad that cost us the lead or momentum. Does Pruitt have no recourse? I know the NCAA can't change the results but, at least them admitting it was a bad call would make me at least feel like we might look a little better overall as an improved team.

The breaks don't usually go to the teams that play undisciplined football. UT played hard, I'll give you that. Offensively I thought we had a great gameplan and executed well for the most part. Penalties lost us this game. Plain and simple.

And, the “Pirate” has Washington State up there as well. To me, it looks like you gotta have a coach that “fits” and commit to that guy. I believe we have that guy. It’s hard to be patient especially after all the drama this fan base has been through. But it’s the best choice.

UK has had a top 25 team for about a month. And it took Stoops 6 years to manage that.

The last part is true. The only 2 you could make an argument for "good" was Majors and Fulmer. One replaced the other and then ran out of want to at the end. Since then we have been hiring and firing bad coaches.

The only way to make Tennessee football a positive in ones life over the past decade was to remove it.

IMO there are two players we are in need of to be decent again.
QB: We need a QB. JG plays well but he is not a Excellent QB. I would say he is average at best. He may in time be better but not this year. He has come a long way but cannot scramble at all which hinders his ability to make plays when in need. And he does not have the it factor. Some QBs can change a game all by themselves but JG does not have that ability. Dobbs had that ability and shined many times in games we should not have won.

DE/DT: We are in a huge need for a Dominant DE or DT or both that gives us come kind of pass rush. It gives a huge lift off of the LB's and DB's. When we had Barnett he along with other DE's gave us a huge advantage and actually gave our defense a chance to get off the field. Right now we have zero pass rush and other teams know it. And if you look at our roster we don't have anyone coming in that i believe will take up that mantel. IMO a 5 star DE should be our number one recruit.

64% completion percentage which is 4th best in the SEC. 2 pics which is 2nd fewest behind Tua, 4th best QB rating. All this while under constant pressure and very little run game to provide balance. But please, carry on with your “common sense”. I’m just stating facts
