27. JS. The rivalry is not relevant. It's a thing of the past.
Have you ever thought to yourself, 'man, how wrong I am'? Right now could be one of those moments for you.

By your thinking, I guess it stopped being relevant and a thing of the past long before now. Like from 1971-1981, when Bama won 11 in a row. You'd have been crying the same tune then, and of course you would have been wrong...because, I guess it stopped being relevant and a thing of the past, AGAIN, from 1995-2006, when we won 10 out of 12, 7 in a row.

And I could go on with other examples of times when both sides thought they'd never win again...but, carry on with your BS narrative, if that's what makes you feel better about being a "Vol fan".

Curious so looked it up. Listed are our guys weights coming out of HS.

Richmond - 275
Tatum - 260
Johnson - 245
Niehaus - 250
Brooks - 255

Nothing wrong with doing that with a few guys you know aren't going to have to play Early.
We know everyone wanted Richmond and brooks was recruited to be a TE

Can you post the others weights?

Plenty wrong with doing that. You end up where we are, starting guys who are way too small and get rag dolled in SEC play

Noticeable difference between our OL and top level SEC OLs.

Come on just just because it didn't work out with jones doesn't mean Weight of OL recruits is thah big of a factor.
Developing them much more important.

Just look at the highest paid LT in the history of the game and see that taking a high school OL doesn't mean they have to be 300 pounds. Lewan was 270 coming out of Hs

I hope to see a lot of max pro with only 2-3 guys running routes. I like our guys outside against theirs when we have time to throw.

You recruit 245-265lb OL in the SEC, this is what you reap

Thankfully looks like Pruitt understands this

I'm definitely not opposed to this. We have the WRs and the QB if the OL can just give us a little bit of time.

Of course I agree if that's all you get but you left out the ones we did take. Everyone was going to take richmond so you can't fault jones on that

Tatum has been a miss for sure at this point.

Brooks doesn't count imo

Most likely because of your low IQ. This rivalry is DEAD. Outscored 454-147 since 07. DEAD
Now now, BGS, that almost hurt my feelings a bit.

Question: Does Zed allow you to say such hurtful things, or are you feeling bold and frisky, and venturing further and further from your box? Just curious.

How ironic, someone who disregards history, questioning someone else's IQ. 🙄

If your 40 or over it matters. 30-39 it might matter. 29 or younger all you know is we suck when we play bama.

But as rivalry goes out game hasn't mattered much in the conference, much less nationally, in a long time.

I'm 45. And I hate bama most.

But Florida and Georgia are more important games relative to conference goals.

Young bama fans will probably tell you sAuburn or LSU is their biggest rival. Older bama fans probably just have pity for older Tennessee fans these days.

Im sorry, but finding one guy (exception to the rule) to prove your point on this particular issue isnt a good one to go with. Look at bama, uga, lsu, and burn and you will see a big difference in why they are in the sec title debate and we arent. Recruiting a bunch of 250lb ish OL wont beat the top sec teams. It will work in the pac 12 and big 12, but not the sec.

The moment? It's been since 2007. 33-15 Bama since 1970.
Before Saban, the greatest coach in history, started beating our tails, the RIVALY was separated by only 6 games. No other program in the country has beaten Bama more times than the Vols; not UF, not UGA, not LSU, not even Auburn.
