27. JS. The rivalry is not relevant. It's a thing of the past.
Ok, so I am beyond tired of seeing people say this nonsense. Here is the history of the rivalry: 1903-1913 Bama 9-1; 1914-1932 UT 5-1; 1933-1937 Bama 4-0-1; 1938-1940 UT 3-0; 1941-1945 Bama 3-0-1; 1946-1960 UT 10-2-3; 1961-1966 Bama 5-0-1; 1967-1970 UT 4-0; 1971-1981 Bama 11-0; 1982-1985 UT 4-0; 1986-1994 Bama 8-0-1; 1995-2006 UT 10-2; 2007-2018 Bama 12-0. Does anyone see a pattern here? This rivalry has been an alternating list of streaks ever since it began in 1902. Absolutely nothing has changed. We just happen to have been on the losing end of it for 12 in a row.

I'd like to see them side by side upclose but Tatum seems taller than both to me

I think Tatum, Niehaus, JJohnson and Trey Smith are all within an inch or so in height, but there's about a 40-50 lb swing in weight between them. We don't have a plug and play guy to replace Trey. The whole line will have to step up and work together.

Sorry. As long as Bama is on the schedule every year that game is a rivalry. I didn't hear Bama fans, or UT fans, saying the game was no longer a rivalry when UT won 7 in a row.

And I am not sure how you can consider UF a rivalry and Bama not a rivalry, since UF has won 13 of the last 14, so not much different than Bama's streak of 12.
Negative. We don’t even compete

Then you are holding on to the ball too long. Not sure this proves your point that this is meaningless

Unfortunately, the point of some is "I don't give a hoot about facts or stats. My eyes and perspective are more reliable. I'm gonna hang on to that and nothing is going to change it." Thus why, although I rely on fans for perspective on a lot of things, I never rely on fans' perspective on who should be playing. We've been proven ignorant, or maybe just biased, on the subject too many times.

Anyone know about Devante Brooks? He started the last 4 games at RT, Roster says he’s up to 290. Staff really low on him or a few more injuries and we could possibly see him?

So according to you, Chryst gets the ball out quicker, yet still gets pressured the same. Stats are stats.

You’re such an easy punching bag.

Don't forget, he also supposedly makes better pre-snap adjustments, which should show in these stats.

Is Trey Smith's football career over?

If that doesn't tell the tell of what a rivalry is then I'd be hard pressed to find another in all of sports like it. Hatfield's and McCoys maybe or was human huntin ever a sport?

I’m 33 but remember a decade or so where we didn’t pay Bama much mind. I guess it depends on how you define rivalry. To me, rivalry is about tradition, about everything that’s happened for decades. Rivalries don't disappear because you’re discouraged with recent results. In fact, it’s supposed to strengthen your resolve.

To each their own I suppose.

Curious so looked it up. Listed are our guys weights coming out of HS.

Richmond - 275
Tatum - 260
Johnson - 245
Niehaus - 250
Brooks - 255
