Just speculation, but would Atlanta Vol really drop such an ominous post if it were just a suspension or an injury? I'm more nervous about our crack team of recruiters getting caught breaking the rules. He did seem to reference the players specifically though, so maybe it is something with more direct impact on Saturday's game. Maybe JG really did break that collarbone and is out for the rest of the season...
As was discussed when the diagnosis came out earlier this year. Clots will come with or without football. He has the best thing for him right now with the close monitoring. If he keeps that he could still play football, but it's up to him whether he wants to continue or notdamn. that sucks for a whole lotta reasons. but yeah, those things are no joke. hope he is just ok, hate it obviouisly for football reasons. but moreso, just hope he's gonna be able to get it taken care of long term, with or w/out football.

Coach Fulmer is going to make sure the kid is taken care of for sure. He’ll make sure Trey has everything he needs medically and academically.Trey Smith is a great guy-- one who gives his all. Sometimes, life is just unfair. He'll be on the sideline with the team and they'll play hard for him. He'll get the best medical care, but it really sucks for Trey and his family, who've been through so much.
This is why these kids should take advantage of the opportunity to get an education and a degree. Life has more than one way to derail you...give yourself more options as well to level the playing field.Trey Smith is a great guy-- one who gives his all. Sometimes, life is just unfair.
