How confident is everyone against South Carolina?

I actually feel we win this game. We play better on the road.

I would feel very confident, as in expect us to win, were it not for us being so beat up and jr having an extra week to prepare, rest, and heal. As is, I'm not very confident. Maybe 40% chance to win. I'm afraid we're going to be missing a few starters again.

When an agent gets you a million plus per contract? It’s not a “disservice”.
I'll reword it:

The University of Tennessee may have placed unfair expectations on Helton by giving him a top 10 salary despite having little experience implementing and running his own offense.

Well, how hard is it to go from RB to LB? He definitely has the want to and would give us some much needed energy on that defense. Wonder how long before Banks can put it together

I think they’re closer to Tennessee, South Carolina, Missouri and Vanderbilt than the top 15 ranking they have.

I could be wrong. We’ll know in a month.
They play fundamentally sound football. We have yet to do that, our defense has a lot of soft porous spots, and we can't run the ball worth a lick or pass pro very well either. Vanderbilt is undermanned, they don't have the skill talent that we do, but they play better fundamental football more consistently than we do to this point.

We obviously can improve a lot still on the fundamentals, so if that happens we can be a good team.

I don't understand how they call the White hit on Fitzgerald targeting, but they don't call the Alabama hit on JG targeting.

I mean, I know why. I just don't know the official justification.

And the media will not press them on this. They never have, and never will call out the obvious pro-Bama bias in SEC officiating. It is so obvious it is sickening.
