We really missed out Schiano.
He had a real reputation of seeing past some things that didn’t matter to him.
He knew what to look for and when to just look the other way.
He understood that some adults use alternative methods when “working” with kids.
And, just like Dooley, he understood proper shower discipline between men and boys.

Well, there weren't a lot of highlights, LOL. But, I get it. I noticed that they did not replay any of Bama's nice plays and there were lots of those.

Not that I disagree with your overall point but I think Bama called off the attack dogs much Ealier than other games. I think Saban slowed it down after JG left the game

I have heard that, but not sure I agree with it since Tua was still playing and he is their million dollar man. I think they played less aggressive because we were connecting on deep throws. I also think our OL is improving some.

I’m done with Bama series. Texas A&M ended its rivalry with Texas to get better as a program. We need to do the same by allowing conference realignment. We’d be much happier about our season and our possibility for a successful rebuild if we were just now coming off a game against cross divisional rival Arkansas.

Auburn to the east. Mizzou to the west.

Let’s do this!

A different way to frame conference realignment is to state simply: we want Georgia’s schedule.

It’s succinct and gets to the point that there is a big imbalance between our schedule and the ones Florida and Georgia have.

Just the plain facts boys and girls.

JG had the same advantage in the Auburn game. He hit Chandler totally uncovered down the middle of the field for one. He had enough time to throw deep passes the receivers outfought defenders for on highpoint and back shoulder throws because they were in max protect a lot. He threw them well. That only worked once against Bama's defenders and JG got blasted as it happened because he had less time to throw. Bama was expecting it having seen it on tape and knew JG doesn't make pre-snap reads well. KC got the ball out quicker on the deep cross to Byrd. He threw the ball to the spot Byrd was running to instead of holding it and throwing the back shoulder. Chandler was not his primary receiver on the second TD. He spotted a LB in coverage on him on the outside pre-snap and immediately went there due to the mismatch. I don't recall that ever happening with JG in all of his starts. He nearly always looks primary first and locks on, which causes a lot of hurries and sacks.

That's what I mean, good play, bad play or meh play, just show all the replays. Every play. That's what they used to do. People want to see what happened from a better angle than what they have in their seats. Why have the jumbotron if you aren't going to use it to show replays? It shouldn't just be a "Vol Highlight" board.

Yeah, I had no clue what happened when Alontae got ejected or when Ty messed up the second half kickoff.
