Finally getting to see the second half of yesterday’s game. I like the Pruitt era. The team played hard through the final whistle. I’m not sure if a first year Tennessee head coach has had as high an average margin of defeat against our three biggest rivals as Pruitt (30+), but I’m not sure one ever played them when they were all top 10ish teams. Plus Pruitt doesn’t play for moral victories. He could have narrowed the scores by not doing the onside kicks in the Florida and Bama games, or not going for two at Georgia, etc. but the dude plays to win.

I think it will be a fun stretch with him. I’m pretty confident we get to a bowl game.

I’m just going to go ahead and say it.

Best college team ever.

Yeah, I know it’s early, and there may be stronger players elsewhere in history, but the sum of those parts cannot be matched, IMO.

Nebraska 95... Miami 01... whoever could not deal with that. They will not have a single game go into the 4th quarter... straight through the NC. Makes me sick

I’m with you. I’m crowning them now. Will be stunned if anyone keeps it close with them this year. They can beat you every way imaginable.

Bama is the 1st one we lost to by 30+

Not too strong of a statement. They look TREMENDOUS.

Also, doesn’t appear there is a very strong #2 team in college football this year. Clemson and OSU don’t look as good as years past. Bama may run roughshod over EVERYONE.
Not sure anyone plays them within 21 unless they are just disinterested in a game.

Saw Tua give a fist pump after a TD when it was already 40 something points and wondered how the game being so easy must be somewhat boring. I mean how pumped can you be when nothing is ever even close.

Beating little kids in basketball just doesn’t do much for me, ya know?

I agree. This Bama team is ridiculous. They pound ‘95 Nebraska. And yes I’m old enough to remember. Different eras blah blah. This team is different. Effortless dominance so far

I like this and I agree. He’s not playing to lose and I think coaching has actually been pretty good. We just all know the roster is not that great and they’ve been sleep walking since the end of 2016.

It’s changing and auburn was a great treat in a so far painful season. But I wanted to see a glimpse and I think we have seen it. I hope these boys can find the fight to finish for bowl eligibility.

What I'm having a hard time with is why the Lyle Jones infallible offense has not been installed by Saban yet. It's got to grate on Jones' ego.

Saban is masterful at making sure his players rarely get complacent or spoiled. They play hard game after game, year after year.
