I like you for the most part my man, but you painted yourself into a corner on this one. Just take the L and move on.
I will not, because it is not a loss imo. This would be a monumental upset that we would talk about forever..down play it all you want, but I think that is dumb.

Literally nobody on the planet with a brain thinks we have any chance of staying within 3-4 tds if Bama decides to break a sweat.

Not being negative, but that's just not going to happen IMO. I agree with CPF, this team isn't near as bad as the one we saw against UF, but we're also not really as good as the one we saw last Saturday. I think 6-6 is attainable.

About where I'm at. We're gonna get someone's best shot out of USC, UK, Mizzou, and Vandy. And we will likely play a bad game against one of those as well. Just need to have another Auburn-like performance and then grind a win out.

Pruitt doesn’t woo. Not sure if he’s ever going to fit in at Tennessee. It’s takenn this long just for him to wear orange at a game.

Nobody disagrees with THAT. You originally said THE all time greatest upset win didn’t you? As in none greater. It’s not.
NO I DID NOT SAY THAT...NOT ONCE. I do not even believe that. I do think it would be the greatest UT upset win in our history, but this the first time I even have said that.

With the way the pundits are saying Bama's offense/team is arguably the "Best" ever, besides the 95' Nebraska team...And if we beat them, that could qualify as the biggest upset ever....if it happens, you are not wrong for saying/believing it

No one is coming close to that 2001 Miami team imo

McGill, I can get on board with that. If we win, it IS the biggest upset in our history, that I know of, and possibly, maybe, probably, the biggest win in our history.

Yep, I told a Kentucky friend of mine after the UGA game that Tenn could be a team that you don’t want to play at the end of the season. We just need to stay healthy and I think we go bowling.

I think Jennings getting back close to 100% playing shape and now looking like an even more physical and aggress player than he was is huge for this team. He is intense and passionate and has the ability to fire up this team both on the field and on the sidelines as well. He could be this team's Benny Snell as far as the team feeding off his energy and the way he plays angry. And this victory certainly validated a lot of what the staff has been coaching into them. And they will be sponges to coaching because they now know it ain't BS.

Don't get me wrong; this team is a long, long way from being anywhere near a finished product, and every SEC game left will be very, very difficult, but I do see definite improvement on both sides of the ball at a lot of positions, and I see the the coaches willing to be more aggressive on both sides of the ball as they gain more trust in the players. So the 2nd half of the season could be much more entertaining than what I was expecting. I think the key for the coaches and leaders this week is, regardless of the outcome of this week's game, not to let anyone lose the momentum that was gained this past Saturday.

I don't think there is any doubt that Jarret Guarantano remains at QB for the next 2 years. There is no QB controversy. He showed how talented he is when he gets time to throw it.

That’s crazy. Shrout is very obviously the best QB on the roster. You don’t even have to see him play to know it

I think we'll continue to see the team improve as the season goes along, especially defensively. Staying healthy is obviously a key though. Charlotte is a win, and I want to say Vanderbilt will be as well. If we can beat one of the other three I'll be pretty well pleased going into the offseason.

Biggest upset sure, but we only have a small amount of those in our history to compare to.

But biggest win? Ultimately its a meaningless game, and theres enough hardware in our trophy cabinet that any win that doesn't led to adding something else to it is automatically disqualified

Those mid 90s Cornroider teams could steamroll almost any college defense ever put on the field, and those Blackshirt defenses were almost as great as the offenses. Those NU teams were the most brutal football machines I have ever seen with my eyes. Not one bit of Miami type finesse in them.

That 95 Nebraska team was freaking good. I know 01 Miami was loaded with NFL draft picks, and wins the comparison in that category.

But I've never seen a team thoroughly dominate it's competition like that team did.

Go look at that schedule... Beat everyone by 2 TD's or more, 4 top ten teams, ooc included 2 PAC 10 and a big 10 team... Didn't score less that 35 in any game... And less than 40 only once...49 or over 8 times... Never gave up more than 28, only once did anyone get that many points.

01 Miami only played 1 to ten team and squeaked by BC and VT...

no doubt which team was more talented. But as far as dominant?

No question...95 Nebraska.
