We were talking about this away work today. Personally I ranked the remaining games (most likely win to least likely) :
1. Charlotte
2. Vandy
3. South Carolina
4. Kentucky
5. Missouri
6. Alabama

Just my opinion.
1. Charlotte. Win. Surprising on defense though.

2. Vandy. Tough game. Should win in Knoxville.

3. South Carolina. Single possession game.

4. Kentucky: I’m waiting for KY to collapse. A twisted ankle for Snell and the dream is over. As is, maybe a tough game.

5. Mizzou: has beaten nobody. Bama shut down Lock. We were awful against WV, but that’s experience against a similar offense. I think we will be ready to go.

6. Bama: See thread

Mehhh

Easiest:
Charlotte

Kentucky
(tie) at Vandy/Missouri

at Carolina

.........

Bama

Carolina isn't looking nearly as good as a lot of people expected at the beginning of the year, but the way the schedule sets up still really sucks. They're coming off a bye, and even with improved coaching and S&C, we're still going to be beat up the week following a fully stocked Alabama team.

I'm not sure Kentucky falls off like in years past.. this obviously isn't like any other recent season for them. They'll be going through a grind the next few weeks leading up to our game-- Vandy/at Missouri/Georgia then traveling here. The next three weeks will reveal a lot about them. They are super one-dimensional on offense-- 26th nationally in rushing; 121st in passing. Wait that can't be right.. yep it's right. 121st.

Missouri will be a test. They have some balance offensively, but not to be overlooked is their rush defense-- 25th nationally with their only real "bad" games against UGA/Bama with 185 yards apiece. They held UGA to 4.6 ypc and Bama to 4.1 and only allowed one rushing TD in those games (to Bama). Fortunately their pass defense kinda sucks, so we can hopefully have JG throw up some peanuts for our tall trees on the outside to give us an edge.

I'm putting Vandy equal to Missouri right now because (don't flame me for this) they were able to score on UF in a hurry and we're their Super Bowl. I don't doubt CFP will have our guys fired up, but hey, we just have to do the dang thing for me to rank this as an easier game next year.

I agree with the Vandy thoughts. I'm hoping we have 5 (or more) wins by that point. I think if our guys are playing to be bowl eligible than they'll be fired up.

With this staff (and our newfound confidence) I believe we will be. I just have to see it first.

And they have a very manageable four-game stretch heading into our game (aside from three straight road games) that could build momentum for them: at Kentucky/at Arkansas/Bye/at Missouri/Old Miss and then us.
