I like these type questions. Barring unforeseen events, all 5. Not being Ron either.

The toughest may be USCe. They get the off week, are at home, and we may be dinged up from Bama. Just two O playmakers - Deebo and Edwards. Their D and the rest of the O are average or below. They are treading water as a team. We are improving weekly and have more playmakers on both sides of the ball. Our talented freshmen corners are maturing and match up well with both of their playmakers. That frees the rest to focus on the QB and RB. They have nobody to stop our WR's if JG is on at all. Playing on the road is not an issue now. I'll take the team that is trending up.

The next toughest is UK, whose schedule toughens and whose offense is becoming really stagnant. Their D is good, but no better than Auburn's. Their game against Mizzou will expose both team's flaws to our staff. Add in they have to play UGA and get beat up some more before us. Mizzou is one dimensional - their D is just not good. Pressure Locke, win game. Vandy and Charlotte are Vandy and Charlotte. Just stay focused on one game at a time.
We're usce home coming game hoping they'll be hungover.

None of the teams we play, sans Alabama, is as good as Auburn. So we have a chance vs. them all.

I’d rank them in likelihood of a Vols win as:
Charlotte
Vandy
——————————
Kentucky
South Carolina
Missouri
——————————
Alabama

I see a probable W (Charlotte), and a probable L (Bama). The rest are toss ups. If we come out of yesterday’s win with some new confidence and at least spilt those other 4 games, then we are going bowling and that is a very good first season for Pruitt to build on.

I’m sorry dude but you’re so stubborn. YES the players executed better, because they’ve very obviously been coached up, but you can’t be that oblivious to the fact that Helton mixed it up a LOT more yesterday and called a much better game.
I'm not just being stubborn...I believe the staff was confident that the blocking and overall basic fundamental offensive execution had improved enough to mix it up more...

Chicken or the egg?

Bout to get carpal tunnel from all these likes...

I'm up making waffles and this coffee tastes extra good on this Sunday morning!

Also, how bout those ETSU BUCS knocking off Citadel in Charleston to go 6-1???
Randy Sanders and staff have done an amazing job..and you have to give Fulmer a ton of credit there too. Talk about making something out of nothing..great job.

I and just about everyone in section 103 expected them to get the onside. What a relief when we recovered it. What a game!! So glad I got to go. @mrMet & @OGbabyaviVol wish I could have met up with you before the game but we got off to a late start. Go Vols!
If that game ends up being the hinge on which the resurrection of UT football turned, you will have an amazing memory and story to remember.

Random thought to consider: UGA’s recruiting has been incredible lately. They have their pick from a state that is incredibly deep in talent. And they are cleaning up in-state.

But consider that historically Georgia Tech has always served as a check on UGA’s in-state dominance. While they may not out recruit UGA, GT would always bring in talented players. Lately though, under Paul Johnson, GT’s recruiting has been terrible. They have signed just 2 of the top 50 players in the state in the last 3 seasons. This year they have no commits rated in the top 70 in the state. Last year they only signed 2 players of the top 100 in Georgia. They recruit to an antiquated system that doesn’t require big, talented players. So if you think about it, UGA has had no real in-state threat to their recruiting dominance for the last 10 years during the Paul Johnson era. Pair that lack of in-state competition with the elite recruiting coaching staff UGA has now and it is no wonder they are recruiting like gangbusters.

This year GT sits at 3-4 with some tough games remaining. Paul Johnson has had losing seasons 2 out of the last 3. He’s 61 years old. If they miss a bowl game again this year, it would come as no surprise if he decided to hang it up or if their admin decided to make a change.

Imagine if they did what they should do: hire an elite recruiter as their head coach. Someone hungry and that would make a major splash in the college football world. Someone that could recruit the hell out of Atlanta and breathe some life into their offense - something their fans are clamoring for. Have you figured it out yet? Lane Kiffin to GT. It would make so much sense to all parties. And it would make a huge difference in bringing UGA back down to earth.

So let’s all hope that GT tanks this season, and the universe comes full circle and Lane Kiffin does something to make amens and help our Vols - he goes to GT and starts taking players away from UGA!

Thanks man. For some reason I can't get the sound to work. Any idea why?

Mizzou won’t beat us. Their defense is terrible first of all. Second, yes they have a good QB, but in case you haven’t noticed, no QBs have done anything against us since Grier. And this is a different team than the team that played Grier. Unlike then, we aren’t having major busts in the secondary. Also unlike then, we actually have a pass rush. Grier had all day against us to pick us apart, Lock won’t. We’ll win that game.

We haven’t played a decent QB since Grier either lol. Stidham hasn’t been good this year

Another thing about the rest of the season, this team has confidence now, yesterday showed the coaches know what they are doing. This is a different team than the team that played Florida and WVU. Confidence is a big key to playing well

Defense is starting to react instead of think.

Very good thing

Mizzou D didn't look to bad after Tua went out . It will be a tuff game but I think we win . This game sure helped my confidence and think it has done the same for the team.
