Finally republicans have grown a backbone

Prime example of them "Smart liberals" right there!

I feel bad for those kids. Its bad enough they are being raised without their father, but its compounded by having an unemployed lazy mother willing to embarrass them and post it on the internet for the world to see. Take a bow democrats, you've reached a new low!

I can sum up the intelectual depths of many posters in this forum with two words and a gif.

Politics has never exactly been a bastion of civil discourse. Having said that my concern is the sense that uncivil action as opposed to mere discourse is creeping it's way closer to mainstream acceptance.
Agreed. Not necessarily blaming Trump, but his unapologetic aggression has not rubbed off well on the Democrats.

Not entirely sure why no one has mentioned Trump calling his supporters to violence numerous times, him offering to pay their legal fees for enacting his violence, him threatening to imprison his political opponents, and him attempting to dehumanize liberals constantly through his speech and his propaganda arm at Fox News. He is such a snowflake, he's even trying to make it more difficult to protest at the White House at the moment. Also, let us not forget that he also wanted data on people that opposed him on Facebook. With all of this in play, you all expect a sweet opposition that plays into your self-perceived victim hood? I'm glad Hillary said what needed to be said.

How is that?

Because nobody has ever brought that up before. Like ever.

Look, he did it a couple of times on the campaign trail. Got it. Been talked about, been brought up, okay, dead horse.

Now, look at what's happening today and the calls from Democratic leaders and silence from the rest. When Obama won, did mobs of people screech and scream and protest?

Nope.

Did mobs of people scream and claw at the Supreme Court doors when the two SCOTUS choices from Obama were starting their first day?

Did mobs of conservative people harass Democratic officials in restaurants, airports and in the halls of Congress?

Did paid protesters walk into hearings just to incite trouble?

Have additional national Republican leaders inferred violence against Democrats?

Did conservative mob rule casually toss aside the presumption of innocence and due process because of their feelz? Or more importantly, because they were paid to?

If you truly want your party to emulate Trump by his "calls for violence" then you have no leg to stand on.

Oh, just not a big deal. Doesn't matter what a President says. We are just to ignore him, correct?

Yes, loads of conservatives attacked people for their beliefs. Yes, loads of conservatives issued death threats. It is what that side does. They continue to do the same, only now they are protected by the Red Hats, propaganda wing of Fox News, and Breitbart.

You hate Trump supposedly for the way he acts, yet now you're okay with the Dems sinking even lower? Every time I see this it just reinforces that it's not Trump's character the left objects, it really is just a big hissy fit over Hillary not getting her turn. And I'm not sure what this Trump/Facebook thing is, but it doesn't sound quite as egregious as when Bill and Hillary were caught with FBI files on the opposition. Another one of those scandals Hillary had her hands in yet the left likes to pretend never happened. There are no angels in politics. Both parties engage in dirty tactics. But no one plays a dirtier game than Hillary Clinton.

The giant hissy fits are what is destroying your party. Instead of creating a clear platform, they just bitch about not being in power and doing whatever they can to obstruct the right. Case in point, DiFi's actions withholding the Kavanaugh accusation until it was timely.

Republicans and Democrats alike are going to continue to drag this country down with their petty squabbles over who should be in control. Will there ever be a point where either side puts more emphasis on the country rather than power? It really is sad, IMO.

Nope, I hate Trump, that isn't going to change. There is nothing more than I hate than Trump.
