May see Shrout against Charlotte. Doubt they throw him in OTR or in a close game. They're being conservative with him.

@HankHill on a one man campaign to convince everyone JG sucks.

I’m hoping when it’s all said and done, hank has egg on his face.

Just think it’s unfair to judge RS sophomore on his third offensive coordinator, playing behind this offensive line, and without a receiver capable of taking the top of the defense.

I think he’s better this year than last year. I’d expect him to be even better next.

I’m all for competition but we don’t have a stacked team that a blue chip true freshman could come in and lead. JT is far too raw IMO. Idea of a one year grad transfer rental when class numbers are so limited is unappealing to me.

All considered, I have a strong rooting interest/hope in the evolution of JG.

He has no moxie and I don't think that will magically appear.

i agree with both of these posts.

Not suggesting he’s Aikman. Just stated why I think he gives us the most realistic chance of getting 9 wins in the next year or so. I still think his best games are ahead of him - not saying much I suppose, but still. He isn’t a liability imo.

Cant be good at Bama? WTH are u smoking? In 2 years as a stater he threw for alomst 5000 yards and 40 TD’s with a 62% completion percentage. He is not an NFL QB but with our off line this is exactly what we need.

Arkansas is going to get Hudson Henry, a 4* TE (which is expected no doubt) then they're going to come close to our current class ranking. I think we could use a shot in the arm and get a commit soon, especially if AU beats us.

Yeah he just lead them to the national championship game twice...what a scrub.
Think you might be surprised what JG could do at Bama . Just look at bamas ships and there QB's, they don't have to be good, just don't turn it over. We need a QB that has a feel for the game. And there's not that many. We need talent upgrades most places. I believe Pruitt will get us there.

I think JG will be our Qb till he leaves. I'm not going to judge him too harshly till next year. I imagine he will settle down and see the game flow better when he's not thinking about a helment to the spine in 1.5 seconds. I can imagine I would also be a little hesitant to run after some of the unnecessary shots he's taken. I think he has the ability to be a good qb for us and while I maybe wrong he is our best option in my opinion. Like it or not we should at least support him accordingly.
