Credit to UK and Stoops-- the Cats are playing with a lot of physicality, grit and determination. The Vols often lack that-- but it's not impossible to change. The Vols could play tougher, smarter, with a lot more physicality. UT has players who're not focused, lack discipline and give up on plays. The poor execution has led to a lack of trust, and that puts us in a vicious cycle. UT is out-talented by a lot of SEC teams, but our players take us out of games. When other teams are given opportunities to capitalize on our mistakes, they take them.

If all this is true, why doesn't the staff put their ass on the bench? I see Pruitt making a big mistake by not giving quality reps to our second string guys. Mainly at the QB position. We're gonna find ourselves with no depth, at the QB position, next year because JG is getting all the quality game reps. I just wish Pruitt would play the guys who want to be on the field. If we're going down, go down with guys who want to play and build depth.

Browns ended up winning.

But there was an AWFUL missed PI/illegal contact on 4th down when the Browns went for it. Receiver just got laid out about 12 yards downfield.

After watching the replay, I think I understand why it wasn’t called. The Browns ran a type of downfield pick play, and it looked like the DB was trying to get to his man and ran into Landry. It wouldn’t have been PI anyway because the pass wasn’t catchable. But I believe they considered it incidental contact.
