I know Hurd quit, but I don't hate him knowing just a little about what was going on in that dysfunctional team. I'm happy for him. He's going to end up playing a lot in the NFL and he will be a baller.
Odd timing too...Pretty neutral at this point. You never quit on your team though. Seems like just about everyone else on that team kept their VFL card, he turned his in at the ticket counter. Going to work out for him though, so...
Seems like he had far from a strong household bringing him up as well. He shouldn’t have quit, but I’m not sure he was ever going to do too well playing for a coach like Butch.I know Hurd quit, but I don't hate him knowing just a little about what was going on in that dysfunctional team. He had a concussion and they covered it up. Don’t blame him at all for quitting after that. He rightly felt he was an NFL prospect and that the coaching staff no longer had his best interests at heart.Pretty neutral at this point. You never quit on your team though. What benefit would we get from covering up a concussion for a player whose backups were Kamara and Kelly? He had a concussion and they covered it up. Don’t blame him at all for quitting after that. -HubbsOk, it started last week really, but today bore it out as I watched chunks of every SEC game that was on TV today.
Tennessee's biggest issue is their lack of speed. Yes, this league is big. It's physical, but part of that physicality is the speed this league has and across the board the Vols don't have enough speed. Pruitt and company must recruit more speed. With that in mind, I would get the ball to Ty Chandler in as many ways possible offensively and defensively, I think you gotta get Quarte Sapp on the field more at linebacker.
Interesting day. Kentucky outsmarted themselves after getting a gift from Jimbo Fisher who outsmarted himself by putting Mond under center and that crazy turnover.
Auburn got whipped in the line of scrimmage. Will be fascinating to see where the Tigers with 2 losses are next week. As bad as Auburn's offense looks their speed on the outside is bad for the Vols.
Florida is better than I thought. Their defensive ends are impressive and tore up the LSU offensive tackles. I think that's a bad loss for LSU who I thought would be more physical, but weren't.
I have no idea what to make of the South Carolina-Missouri game.
