Now is a "fair weather fan" one who is critical of the team and coaching staff, or is wanting change for the good of the program not being a "fair weather fan"?

A fan is a fan through thick and thin but you can still disagree with coaching. You can even ask for the head of the coach if that is the way you see it, after all you just want what is best for the program in your eyes.
