There’s one certain positive actually. We looked better than we did last year against UGA. Not good but better.Agreed. There's some folks pumpin' the shine right now on this, but to me that's just an indicator of how desperate some are to get anything positive out of this process. Tennessee didn't look much better or much worse than they did last week, which is to say -- they looked bad. Really bad. Folks can either be honest about it or they can try to comfort themselves with imaginary victories, I suppose, but Tennessee looked bad. S'all we can really say. And you either accept that or you don't. Doesn't mean you crap on the players or the coach but I would struggle to understand anyone who thinks we had anything to hang our hats on today. Just another loss in a season that looks like it may very well fit in our lost decade of thinly-tolerated mediocrity.
Well my point is if your going to play conservative, you have to know that if you don’t succeed with that your going to tire your defense out quickly and that’s what ended up happening
Agree except he's NOT a proven winnerHow sad is it that anyone here...me included...can find positives in a 26 point loss to UGA.
That's a sign of how far we have sunk, and how far we have yet to go.
Maybe we should cut Pruitt some slack. He's a proven winner. He took over a dumpster fire.
This is going to take time to fix.
Go Vols.
Kid plays with a nasty streak. If he did so for you guys I doubt most vol fans wouldn't have an issue with it. If it is truly not a personal issue for you then good for you. Back in the glory days for ut their roster was loaded with GA high school players. Just don't get the amount of hatred for this kid Mays.
I agree about the coaching and the SLIGHT improvement but there’s still A LOT of issues aside from that. We won’t make a bowl.
