This the first time in a long while I'm not scheduling my days around the UT football game. Got a lot of things to do and if I have some time I'll watch some of it. It for the most part I'll be doing other things.

That's sad. We never know when we are going to die. You don't have many UT games to watch in your life. I will be watching it with my son and nothing else I would rather do outside of what we old men don't get to do anymore after kids and a million years of marriage. I would miss it for that.

I’ll be tuning in.

I spend 40 weeks waiting for Tennessee football. I’ll be danged if I miss a game, blowout or not.

If you don’t want to watch, that’s your call, and be happy with it
Damn right. Wait all year for these games. Win or lose I’m watching every single snap.

Well, my son, who's a freshman over there, has lost interest as well, so the father/son thing doesn't work. I will be spending time with him today but we'll be working on his car most likely. It is sad. My heart just isn't in it. Last several years have taken their toll on me.

Don't get me wrong, I'll probably have it on the radio. I'll sneak in and watch some, but for the most part, I'll be doing other things. Just too hard to watch something that was once something so great, get humiliated. It just ain't fun. It just gives me the sands.

Not to far from the truth. 😂

Played tennis with my son this week. He never has played tennis before outside of a couple of weeks at a camp in the summer but made the team and is the number 2 or number 3 seed. Glad I am not like the guy crashing into the car yet but I can't play as hard as I used to with cardio getting to me. Almost pulled my quad last night but was able to work it out and stretch it and keep playing. But was in much better shape than 10 years ago in early 40's now than early 50's. But still hanging in there playing and working with him in baseball, basketball, and tennis now but harder every day. Tennis is brutal compared to the other two considering you can be indoors in basketball.

Chris Bosh has the same exact thing and isn’t allowed to play basketball. You’ll forgive me if my understanding of the dangers of blood clots in your lungs led me to believe that he wouldn’t be cleared to play.

You actually said you heard he wasn't going to play period and shortly thereafter he was playing. I didn't think he would because I have a good friend who is does some coaching with major league teams and is a pitching coach that has almost died being in his 40's from them and couldn't even be around where baseballs were being thrown because of the danger. When you are on blood thinners, you can't get hit or could die quickly. But, that wasn't what you stated. It's no big deal but you said his career was over and this was right before fall camp. Your source was just wrong and it was what you heard not what you thought because of clots. It's not the end of the world but sometimes you have to start thinking the person telling you stuff isn't as connected as you though. Believe me when I say it doesn't make you a moran. Just sometimes the info is bad.

I'm not worried about Speith either. I think Tiger will be ok. He's a seasoned vet. DJ worries me a bit. DeShambles will lose imo. Don't think he has the mindset for this type of golf.

Bryson will be better for having experienced it. He peaked in the FedEx Cup and is off right now.

No doubt. And I don’t care about the insider label I just like to pass along things I’ve been told.

But the person who told me that is very high in the athletic department. And even he to this day is surprised they’re letting him play. To be honest, I am too.

No one gets it right all the time. But this message board is for fans to bounce ideas/rumors/thoughts off of each other. And that’s why I’m here.

I appreciate you doing that. I do hope that he is ok to play. It is very interesting to be sure. Sometimes info is just not as good as we think it is. Still appreciate you sharing.

Hey sorry, I know this has probably been discussed in depth, but what's the word on the Clemson QB transferring? Any interest in us?

Syracuse beating #3 Clemson at Clemson... can't hold a candle to us on paper with roster talent... SMH... Hank will say it's coaching stability and special picked players for special offense/defense like KY... wait. ;)
