C. Who knows what kind of ballgame that would've been the other night without the turnovers. I'm not blind to the fact that we are fighting it out with Arkansas as the worst team in the SEC; however, again...just cut those 6 TO's in half, and who knows what happens. The Pope fumble and Shamburger fumble we're absolute killers.Okay.
I begrudgingly went to see the alma mater play South Alabama with a group of friends. I knew I was going to miss the Florida game, but it was probably for the best. I followed the box score updates sparingly, which was enough to know it was a sh!tshow.
Yesterday, I ignored all sports outside of fantasy football, where my Cam Newton-->Christian McCaffery connection is tearing it up. I did see a couple of things about Sapp getting sent to the locker room, a late hit on JG, and all-around reactionary doom and gloom. I also saw the drive chart that started Fumble, INT, Punt, Safety, Crap, Crap, Crap all the way down.
Only now did I subject myself to the longest "highlight" video I could find available on YouTube. Yes, it did look bad. (It also sounded really bad, who's the boy scout that called the game? He's more generic than the commentators you'd hear on video games. Awful.) I did see some pressure from the DL. I saw some good runs. I saw competence in spots. It was just heavily outweighed by our bedwettings that Florida was able to take advantage of.
This is the first I've been to VN since Saturday morning. I'm not going to read through 1500 posts to catch up.
Unofficial poll, choose A, B, or C if you could:
A) We're only going to beat Charlotte now, and CJP's overall trajectory with Tennessee has dipped.
B) We may only beat Charlotte and maybe Vandy or something from here on out, but it's always darkest before dawn, and we should be patient with Pruitt. We'll still be alright in a couple/few years.
C) Florida was a fluke. They came out ready, and we crapped the bed under a lot of pressure. We still have a puncher's chance against Carolina/Mizzou/Kentucky/Vandy, and may still be able to get to a bowl game. We're on track, it was an ugly game.
Edit:
D) People who answer this are either too mentally exhausted, can't think critically, or think they're utilizing an edgy brand of humor.
"IF" that's true, we need to have some house cleaning after the season.
I want to put C.but I would be fooling myself. B, I think, v though I am not convinced CJP will lead us out of the Wilderness. I am still willing to wait and see. The '19 Recruiting class is very important.Okay.

It’s what happens when your former players sue the crap out of you for bodily injury suffered while playing
This. This. This.Nobody knows if "Pruitt's the guy" or "Pruitt's not the guy." It hasn't been a strong start and it doesn't bode well for the season, but it doesn't mean he'll fail here. Nor does it mean he'll succeed here. What it does mean is there's probably a lot of disappointment, frustration and ridicule ahead for a program that's already had more than its share.

I saw a segment on ESPN where they compared Matthews’ hit yesterday with a hit Jaylon Smith made on Russell Wilson. While the Matthews play seems like normal football that we have seen for years, the Smith play is what they want. He put a shoulder into Wilson and knocked him down but didn’t land on him. I have seen more than one former player say the rule stinks but it was called correctly on Matthews.
As you guys say, the players can’t have it both ways. In 25 years, these same players will want compensation for injuries.
So, let's say we do clean house. How can we replace those folks with the twenty-five hard limit? If we have eighty-five possible schollies, lose thirty-five, then does that mean we'll only be eligible for a total of seventy-five scholarship athletes in 2019-2020?
B. But we could finally gel a little on OL, and maybe Lock, Bentley, or Shurmer gets injured.Okay.
