looking back at that 2015 class. we signed 30 kids and had the #4 class in the country.

we have 11 players left out of that class that are currently on the roster. and one of those is a long snapper.

He is, but I just don't believe he is the one who should take a 3rd and one toss sweep. Either run him between the tackles or let Chandler take the toss.
It really wouldn't have mattered who took the toss when you have an untouched linebacker in the hole because your lead blocker turns around and blocks a guy on the ground

I honestly think ranking college football jobs is stupid. All the teams being mentioned are teams that are good right now. In the mid to late 90’s when we were mopping the floor with Bama no one would have said wow Bama is a top 5 job. What makes a school a top job is how much money the admin is willing to spend and the level of commitment to the football program. That’s what the Bama and LSU have done.

It looked to me like FL was stacking the box making it almost impossible to run the ball. We played right into their hands by trying to run it right at them. They were daring us to beat them with the pass and we didn't take them up on it.
A lot of what I see was 7 on 7 when we were trying to run the ball.

I would have to go back and watch (and I ain't) but during the game I counted eight in the box multiple occasions. Now I guess it depends on what you include in the box.
No you're not wrong there were some plays there were 8 in the box, but there were plenty where there were 7 in the box and the guys just didn't execute

Sure for now but whats going to happen when Bill Haslam takes over as president of UT
He'll either stay out of Fulmer's way, or he'll watch Neyland Stadium burn to the ground. I've said it many times before, if the Haslam's or whoever railroad Fulmer this time around, Shiano Sunday will look like a tea party compared to what will happen, imo.

It's quirky, but the only thing that changed is playing in 4 games and still being able to redshirt. If he leaves the school immediately, then it gets interesting. I have now seen it stated both ways- he doesn't have to graduate and he will be a graduate transfer.
If somehow they could enroll in a school they would be eligible exactly a year later. Happens in basketball All the time.

I feel very confident that is accurate

Unless he's a grad transfer, he'll have to sit. Redshirting has nothing to do with it.

14.5.5.1 General Rule. A transfer student from a four-year institution shall not be eligible for intercollegiate competition at a member institution until the student has fulfilled a residence requirement of one full academic year (two full semesters or three full quarters) at the certifying institution.

There were multiple times where we had trips to one side with 4 defenders. I would consider that a numbers mismatch. Means you have at least two WR's that are one on one. But we couldn't take advantage. You have to look at where the numbers are on the field to see if you have mismatches.

On a side note, they had 9 in the box on the safety while we had 7 OL. They knew exactly what we were doing. However, they also had 9 in the box on the 4th and one throw to Pope. That's what made that a great play. I am guessing JG doesn't have full control to call a play and make a decision. But a good QB will look at the numbers in the box and in the secondary and make a call based on that.

Just passing this along:

It was terrible-- but that's the past. UT has a new AD and a new board-- even the President and Chancellor will be different. Fulmer has gotten funding for every single thing Pruitt has requested. Pruitt was allowed to hire every staffer he wanted-- even overpaying Tyson Helton to get him to UT. He was allowed to rip out the old weightroom and rebuild and re-equip it, and it's NFL-caliber. Even the field looks better. Pruitt gets everything he wants from a resources and facilities standpoint, so UTAD really isn't the impediment going forward.

Well that's encouraging at least... It's just going to take 4 or 5 years I guess.
