Yea, I've noticed that. As soon as someone else post it disappears.

Also, I've noticed that if there are no new post in a thread it takes you to the very first post, the original thread starter post.

Yep.

I figured out if you click the time of the last post instead of the thread title, it takes you to the last post. Little shortcut

Did that make you feel better, Vol fan? You're a disgrace, dude.

You need to refine your debating skills, dude. You come off as loud and biased. Invol is a respected poster. I enjoy reading some of your posts, but you all are never going to agree on this one. Why not move on?

Here is a thing i noticed after rewatching the game on TV:

The turnover play on the strip sack/interception.

1. Jordan blows a blocking assignment. No doubt about it.

2. The ball should’ve been out already. This Just a simple clear out concept. The wr in the flat is already open, so JG has to do better at anticipating that.
Spot on.

Coaching was not good on Saturday. No arguing against it.

LMAO. Coaching is the least of UT's worries right now. Piss-poor effort and mental mistakes by the players doomed us. Throw in the obvious lack of talent on the roster, and UT will be lucky to win one SEC game this year.

You can have the greatest coaching staff in history on your sidelines, but if your players don't execute, then it's all for naught. Not arguing that the coaches are infallible, but to put the loss on the staff is laughable.

Pruitt tried everything to get the boys motivated and show them that he believes in them. The team just sucks, Nick Saban couldn't win with this team. You can't force guys to go out there and play hard, it sucks, but it's just the reality of the situation
I hate that this is so true. They were losing and got down and lost interest in playing footballs. The most important part of the game in reviewing film is the 4th quarter. See who wants to be on the field and who is fighting still. I’d role with banks even with the mistakes he makes being a freshman.

Are you pro Chryst or pro JG at this point ? I am leaning Chryst. I'll hang up and listen.
Still on the JG train. We need to give him more help with playcalling and I guess we need to max protect more. We are still sucking at protecting him. I have not seen anything from Chryst (in very limited snaps) that indicates he would be an upgrade.

Pruitt says that the reason for the loss was execution, and that falls on him. You disagree?

Since it's about JG now - I posted this line of thought previously like a few posters - he has nearly zero pocket awareness. If the pocket forms around him he will stay in it and throws the ball well. However, he rarely steps up or laterally to adjust. That means the blockers need to be nearly flawless. When they are not and he doesn't adjust bad things have happened. Add in he simply cannot read D's pre-snap and is mediocre reading coverages this season. He still misses wide open guys because he doesn't think/read his progressions quickly enough. Everything that is happening is tied together.

There are others ways to do the job. Contrast him to Dobbs. Dobbs had great pocket awareness. He looked for two receivers and if nothing found a lane to run either by coaches instruction or instinct, probably the later, because of a mediocre to poor O-line. He was good at pre-snap reads and mediocre at coverage until he got to the NFL and had a real QB coach. Look at Bray even. He would drift laterally and step up or back to stay protected. He was decent at pre-snap reads and good at coverage. He succeeded despite limited mobility because of those abilities plus the big arm behind a quality O-line. He also had a real QB coach. They are two back-up NFL QB's who played for two sorry HC's - so it can be done in any system/scheme.

Have you ever seen any real pocket awareness, pre-snap read ability or strong ability to read coverages in JG yet? Nope. Can't blame it on Helton - he's proved he knows what he's doing with QB's. None was shown under Butch. It doesn't appear to be a natural skillset with him. There still may be time for it to develop if they are willing to let him potentially get messed up for life while losing nearly every game behind a makeshift O-line. Maybe they are. But if it was me calling the shots Chryst would be in there and I would be placing my future success on the shoulders of Shrout and Mauer. Chryst is stronger, knows what he sees quicker, is mobile, and is a rental in a total rebuilding year. There's rarely time for the longer routes that may benefit from JG's arm.

This. Oline had problems but JG was a big part of that. Throws a much better ball than Dobbs, but doesn’t have any feel for the game.

Wholeheartedly disagree. I will take the downgrade in arm strength for maturity and leadership at this point. Let Chryst stand tall and take his lumps this year and get Shrout ready to roll next year. JG doesn't have it between the ears and that will not change.

I dont disagree with this, but that is a practice problem and teaching guys the right habits. Fir those blaming playcalling think about this there is only so much you can call when your O line is this bad. What dies everyone want Helton to do throw it 40 times a game and get JG hit even more.

I do. Hes taking the blame publically. That's what a good leader does. Fact is, he doesn't fumble the ball, he doesnt prance out there soft like the OL did, he doesnt make the decision to be selfish like the majority of these players have.

Typical McGill over reaction. No one is calling for them to be fired. There's absolutely nothing wrong pointing out when they screw up. But they make major bank so let's make sure we don't dare critisize them. Now the kids that bleed and sweat on the field for a scholarship, they're fair game.
Here we go...Guys just doing whatever the hell they want, or not doing what they are taught when they want are the problem. That is the truth of this. These knucklehead guys are fair game.

He knows that..he just wants to bitch at somebody.

Agree, he is in year three with the team and has not improved to the level he needs to be at this point.

Some caller on Ainge's show said Osborne was into it with a coach on Saturday night too. Said players had to separate them. Ainge says there is about 20 players over there that have not bought in.
