Any kind of local preseason reports are SUCH garbage. As much as I hate to say it listen to Finebaum (🤮) or other national media guys as a gauge to see where we are at.

I agree, they held him and all of our receivers. WA also dropped 3rd down pass with a defender tangled at his feet earlier IIRC. Just use him for the spot pass when it's not expected as much. Jordan should not be in there except in mop-up and against Charlotte.

I like this as well. I want to see Richmond back over at LT with Trey at LG. Dumb it down with Richmond looking outside for the pass rush and let Trey handle everything else inside into the C. Do the try outs at RT and keep the TE over there to help most of the time.

I just keep coming back to Kirby. Kirby inherited a 10 win team and a top 5 roster, and he went 7-5 with a loss to a terrible Vandy team at home on homecoming in his first season.

Pruitt’s situation is much much worse. We shouldn’t be surprised at the first year struggles. He’ll get his culture installed by next year. We won’t win like kirby in year 2 because we don’t have the talent. But I’m still a believer that year 3, as long as he recruits we’ll, could be a big year.

These are my thoughts as well. We just need to be patient.

Poster in ff said he received a text from a friend who is a sports writer, saying some players have quit the team. No player names mentioned. Anyone hearing the same thing? I would assume one of the players is probably Sapp, who else might be gone?

Personally, I've decided not to think about this season based on W's/L's. The staff hasn't shortened the rotation of players or zoned in on what they want to do in their schemes. I believe they will at some point and do more as the roster turns over. Not much point in getting hyped over any game this season IMO.

Probably now that they can still redshirt after 4 games. Some players now realize they arent going to play.

Good. It's going to sting but frankly, half of this team needs to leave because they are cancer.

A bunch of folks need to go in order to sign a full class. The sooner the better, imo, will bring the rest of the team closer together.
