Let’s say fans turn on Pruitt and “hold him accountable” along with the OC. Let’s say we can him in 3 years.

Who the heck wants to coach here?

Wasn’t that the enduring lesson of the 2017 coaching search? Nobody wants the job?

Let’s give all these coaches time and lots of it. This job will NEVER be a quick fix no matter who we get as coach.

Tried to sleep but couldn't

This is a good post. Like it or not we need to stay behind Pruitt. I see red flags galore with his team being unprepared in all 4 games but the fact of the matter it we have to have him grow on the job. If not this program is in trouble and so is fulmer

Nothing to do but give Pruitt a couple years to try to turn it around. Hope that he can have the same trajectory as rick Barnes
I’m here too. Lots of similarities. I recall Barnes letting the guys play the way they wanted to play, let them lose the game, then used that teach them it was better to play his way.

It’s gonna take a while with this bunch though. Basketball’s easier to turn around than football.

Much easier to sacrifice a basketball game to prove a point than a football game, but at this point who gives a chief?

There’s a lot more games for one thing. Football just such a hard sport. Takes a ton of work and preparation and then you only get 12 games guaranteed each year. And a week off between each one so the losses fester and look worse over time as everyone over analyzes them.

We should be prepared to spend $12MM/yr. We can’t afford not to.

I don’t think we could attract someone here that would be worth that much. We need to give the guy we have 5 years guaranteed. Follow the Kentucky model. ...That’s who we are after all, and who we have been for a long time now...
