I'm at the game. I was also at the 2016 game. The feeling isn't the same. The players just look like "whatever man', I don't blame them because they're just giving this game away. I'm not saying we won't come back but we don't have Dobbs ability to make plays with his legs. The only good thing is that this Florida team is a lot worse than 2 years ago.

It seems like we started this game like we always do with UF. Very fragile emotionally. At the first mistake it’s “here we go again”. Then the players start to press. That leads to more mistakes and turnovers. Just a fragile team. Not the toughness required. Defense has played pretty well. Offensive line is terrible. Vols will never have success until they can effectively run the balll. Until we get a real oline, we won’t be able to run the ball. It is what it is.

If it had worked everyone would be saying how great of a call it was. The Saints used it against Manning Colts in the super bowl and it totally turned that game around.

All the people on here who are bitching about Pruitt are the same ones who where bashing Butch last season. Pruitt inherited a dumpster fire. At least the man has some balls and goes for it on fourth down. How many times did you a**holes complain about the Butch not going for it? Anyone who thought this was going to be a turnaround year is flat out stupid. It is painfully obvious that Butch didn’t recruit the top talent and he sure as hell didn’t know how to develop it. This is a long term process whether you like it or not. I believe Pruitt can do this. He just has to get the lingering funk from Butch off of the team and that is going to take some time.

I’m on board with Pruitt. Four games is too early to judge, but he should have had this team better prepared today.

I was also there in ‘16 and I am here tonight too. This will be my only game to travel to Knoxville this season. The lack of emotion from the players is really surprising. I don’t know how one team can make so many mistakes in one half.

Wrong there Devil Dog. JG just doesn’t have the football IQ to make quick decisions. He’s going to get his ass kicked every game til he realizes how to read defenses and throw the ball quicker. Personally, I hope Chryst plays the rest of the way. I just don’t see JG getting it done.
