So today when I got home I went straight to my back yard to check on my two dogs. I go inside the fence and my dogs aren't in the back yard. OMG I'm freaking the eff out. I walk around my house to the front of the yard and look around to see if I see them. I don't see them anywhere so I get in my car and drive around my neighborhood.

I stopped a few times to ask people that are outside if they saw two big boxers running around. I drive back pass my house and there they are four or five houses from mine, just standing in the yard with some other dog that is chained up. I stop, get out of my car and call for them to come and get in the car. I didn't think that I would ever see them again. I'm just happy that they didn't go too far or get ran over by a car.

The thing that concerns me and quite honesty pisses me off is how did they get out of the fence? I know they didn't jump over it and I checked for any broken boards where they could escape but found nothing.

I'm wondering if someone opened the gate and let them out?

Maybe there was something in your backyard someone wanted and noticed you had dogs and let them out so they could get what they wanted, or checking out the easiest way to break in your house without being seen (the back). Keep your eyes open, folks are going crazy these days. Just a thought.

Fo, sho! I'd be pissed if something happened to them. They are like my children and plus they are going to make me some money once my male is old enough to mate. lol :)

Very good points there. I'm not sure if someone did open the gate. I would hate to think someone would do something like that. Like you said, people are crazy these days. I don't have anything worth any value in my backyard. I keep them inside with me at night and outside during the day when I'm at work. I'm not afraid of anyone breaking in because my dogs are big and sound scary lol when they bark. No one will come in my house as long as they are inside with me. Well at least that is my opinion.

It's not the fact that I have a lot of money invested in them. Yeah I did think about that when I was looking for them lol I'm not going to lie about that. My female is three so she's been with me for a long time and so loving and loyal. I couldn't image not having her.

Mike Vick disgusts me. :p

Never met a crackhead I see then eh? J/k. Just keep a watch around your house and neighborhood for break ins and such.

Speaking of crazy people these days...

We went down to my lake house in Tennessee for Labor Day weekend. After being there for a couple hours and getting ready to go out on the lake, my mom notices that the grill is gone. Someone stole our brand new big propane grill. Fortunately we have security cameras, and saw them stealing it, but the police are worthless and are no help.
