This is a game where we need to see players step up as leaders. Pruitt and co. can only carry us so far. JG, JJ, Warrior, trey smith, and bituli all need to step up and play their best possible games. I’m hoping we let JG lead the charge. He’s our best player on offense

No, they're not a good football team, but neither are we. We will need to minimize mistakes and force some turnovers if we're going to win.

Agreed..depending on Vandy, UK and Missouri's respective Injury situation also. If Vandy loses Kyle Shurmur, UK were to lose Snell or a OL or two, and Mizzou were to lose Locke it would vastly change the outlook for those games. None of those three have depth either. I'm glad we have Chryst for that very reason.

This is a good thread on Chris Doering's twitter - identifies some of the issues that Florida is dealing with.

Chris' take on the game this weekend is basically they can win if we don't beat them.

Definitely can win this week. Vols have their own set of issues, particularly on the lines of scrimmage.

I think they are correct. Crowd noise, pressure and decision making are not a good for Franks and he needs all the help he can get. Also, remember that Franks is slow reading against CSU - those are not SEC DBs out there (or DL). I hope Mullen knows what he is doing and Franks figures out what he is supposed to be doing....

Too bad you never got to see his work up close like me and a few other TBay fans on here did...then you would know. Gruden is not a bad coach imo, but he is overated, to say a guy is overrated/overhyped is not necessarily saying he is a bad coach..although a few TBay guys on VN think he is a bad coach.


I know one huge negative that I do believe about him from my time if Tampa Bay...He is a hoooorrrrible personnel guy...horrible.

This is probably a dumb question but Ik a lot on here really hate UF. Would you rather go 6-6 and lose to UF or 5-7 and beat them?

As far as for next year I think Akporogene, Lampley could be candidates for C. I like McBride as strong azz bull G and of course Morris and Wright at LT and RT respectively.

You apparently forgot Trey is only a sophomore. I like both Morris and Wright but don't see either playing over Trey.

Bruin, we were watching pro ball and saw the tie. I thought one of you goofballs would know the answer. it wouldn't happen, but what if a team tied every team they played? you tie the very best team, but you tie the worst too, and everyone in between. do you make the playoffs, are you just a loser, etc?
