Idk about week to week but they are significant improvements all over the field.

JG is playing better than i thought he would’ve at this point.
All our interior DL are playing very well.
We have 3 very promising young DBs.
Kirkland is healthy and doing good things.

I’m enjoying this. Losing Kennedy sucks. I wish he could’ve stayed an anchor at C.
Thoughts on Trevon Flowers vs Theo Jackson?

I agree that Bama won't fall apart. But Saban's a key driver. IDT Dabo or Pruitt could match Saban's success. With Saban gone, I think we'll see more parity at the top. It's nice to think UT could get back to that level... but it's a long way up from rock bottom.
As long as Bama keeps pulling a quarter of the top 100 every year AND having excellent coaching...no one besides maybe UGA is going to give them much trouble..they are rolling in recruiting just as much now, and stacking high 4s and 5s now too...and we get to play them every year too...yay 🤕 Pruitt may have been insane to take this job. It will be a fine line between failure and sucess for him. If he can win a few he shouldn't the next couple of years, he might just get rolling himself, if not he will probably have to ho back to coordinating again for awhile...That is our situation, our fate and his are inextricably linked now.

I think Smith is set at LT and RJohnson at C. The rest of the OL will have to rotate. I think the DBs will rotate, too. My guess is they plan to stick with one QB, unless there's an injury.

I think Johnson has done ok at center considering he probably wasn't expecting to play much with Kennedy

Hall has always"looked" like a guard just based on build. Wide thick bulldozer type. Always thought he could be a better guard but JMO.

IMO, we could see Hall at right guard Saturday and Carvin sliding over to left guard.
Carvin played some on left side in last two games. Jamir Johnson will still play some, but he just seems so small out there. It would be great to have Hall for SEC play.

Yeah, he's the best we have now. He practiced at C all spring so he and JG were already comfortable with the exchange. Losing Kennedy hurt us at C and G, but for the most part, we've adapted. SEC play is going to be a tough test for the young guys, though.

Still think people are overvaluing UF. They're not a good football team, and Franks is an inconsistent QB. UF's edge over UT has been mostly mental. UF players believe they're going to find a way to beat UT and UT teams continually find ways to lose. For years, it's been a self-fulfilling prophecy-- and UT has to overcome that.

Pruitt is that guy that will have these guys mentally ready. If the Vols lose Saturday it wont be because they are in our guys head
