Anybody here still think Vandy is a "cupcake", and a should-be auto win this year..hatred of Vandy notwithstanding? Five wins is going to be a tough chore for this team..this year.

I hope we continue to stay healthy and improve, but the reality is that I think we will struggle mightily to win a SEC game this season. The second half of the schedule is a long ways off (obviously for both our opponents and us), but watching Vandy driving in a position to score and win the game at South Bend with a minute left against the #8 team, and with what KY and Mizz looking improved, I just don't think we have the horses this year...
I think our staff is definitely the answer this program needed, and yes, we will eventually get the talent we need to turn the corner, but I just don't think we have the depth and talent level this season. Butch did leave us a bunch of poorly coached, underdeveloped athletes that can still be coached up and be a force, but it won't be this season. Sure there are plenty of bright spots and some really good individual talent, just not enough collectively to get us over the hump in '18... we just need to grind this season, stay as healthy as possible, continue to grow and improve each game, and hope we can still get some good, solid, upgraded talent to sign with us in this next class.

So it looks like Bama will hang half a hundred on us by halftime with our secondary. Anyone think Saban will keep it modest for Pruitt?

The sooner Saban breaks all the records and puts them firmly out of reach, the sooner he'll retire. An undefeated season and another couple NCs should do it. So I'd rather Bama just go ahead and win while UT struggles back to relevance and let UT be strong when Saban winds down.
Could you imagine if he coaches another 20 years?

With what time Saban has left coaching, plus the leftover dominance after he retires, it wouldn’t surprise me to see Bama win 20 in a row over us. Let that sink in.

That's been my sentiment for about 3 years now. Not seeing the light st the end of the tunnel anytime soon tho sadly. He's gonna beat everyone to an oblivion as long as possible. Modern day Caesar!
