Maybe they feel confident enough in JG that they felt he didn't need the boost? Maybe they switched up like they did to make sure UF has to spend time practicing for both QBs?

Also, JG was 12 of 16 for 168 and a TD, 25+ yds rushing, and was in control on the field and on the sidelines...I'd say his confidence is just fine, or at least it looks like it is...imo.

We did very well the last two weeks relative to my expectations coming in to the season. I thought at least one of these was going to be a UGA / Nichols State. We whipped both teams up and the only reason today was remotely close were unforced errors on our side.

Honestly I can’t recall the last time we dominated a team so thoroughly on both sides as we did today.

What? He didn’t show up? They might use it as grounds for dismissal with cause, since I’m sure they know they messed this hire up.

Beating arguably the worst team in Division 1 college football 24-0 isn't "beating the hell" out of them. Folks can sugar coat it and look at different statistics about the game that make them feel better, but the bottom line is that wasn't an impressive performance today. I think we'll see improvement throughout the year, but this team is still going to struggle mightily making a bowl game IMO.

True.

Imagine losing to Colorado State one week and then getting shellacked by North Texas the next week.

No mattress in Knoxville would be safe in that scenario.

That kid looked like an absolute star early on with jimbo.

Doesn't really matter if you buy it. Pruitt had his reasons. You don't have to agree with his decisions. He's the HC so he gets to make them. If we lose next week, I feel fairly certain it won't be because he didn't run JG's stats up this week.

Not sure who your talking about exactly but it would have been a lot more enjoyable without silly drive killing mistakes that we can not do next week and expect to win. I just read CP's response about the O's mistakes today so he saw the same thing I saw. Nothing wrong with pointing out things that were today just silly mistakes. I did enjoy watching our D improve today. I am so pulling for CP and this staff to be successful and I know he doesn't have the talent yet so this year I am prepared for a tough one.

It doesn’t matter how impressive a win was first of all. Bama best UTC in a similar fashion last year.

Also go beyond the score board and look at the yardage difference. We completely dominated the game and pitched a shutout while having multiple turnovers (one should’ve been a TD).

Never understood all the love for Taggart. Folks were drinking his bath water on here during our coaching search. The guy has proven absolutely nothing other than he can recruit.
