For BBQ if you are willing to take a 20 min drive from downtown then head to Sweet P’s in the Murrville/Alcoa area. It’s down on the water. I love it.

For cigar lounge stuff like you mentioned, just walk Gay Street. There is a speakeasy around Market Square, the name escapes me at the moment. Is it the Library? Somebody help me out

Balter beer sucks

Knoxville craft beer scene is pretty terrible in general. I thought the Bear Blend porter was decent when I was there last year, but everything else was forgettable.

Are y'all relieved or annoyed that the Vols are rarely mentioned by the talking heads?
I guess on one hand, it sucks bc there's no need to talk about us. Otoh, it's kinda nice not having a huge hype followed by all the negativity when it doesn't go our way.
