Spoke with my mom today

She is already over this hurricane because a ton of stuff is closed

Said Walmart closed earlier this week

She went to Publix today and told a stocker thanks for being open unlike Walmart

She mentioned the stocker stood up for Walmart allowing their employees to evacuate if they wanted

So my mom asks him well what if Publix employees wanted to evacuate

He said they could with no dings or issues

 

[volwindy]

Um..so what's the issue dude?

At least you have the choice to work if you want. I'm sure several employees at Walmart aren't evacuating and could use the money working a couple more days
