I’m not so sure. There’s a reason our coaching search was such a disaster - most established coaches didn’t want to touch the job. That’s because of the mismatch between fan expectations and their perception of how hard of a rebuild we face with Georgia and Bama at full steam. In short, they think it’s a dead end job right now.

We are fortunate to have Pruitt and Fulmer involved. I just hope folks give them space. This ain’t getting fixed overnight and there are no guarantees we will ever get back to being elite (at least while we have Bama on the schedule every year and remain in the SEC).

Sure is. Can’t believe I’m thinking about checking out on this season 2 games in. This might be the softest team I’ve ever seen put on the orange and white. At this point, we will get dominated in the trenches by every SEC team this year, which may mean we won’t win a SEC game again this year.

Eventually, the offensive line will be figured out. I didn’t expect us to come out and throat stomp them. This is a glorified scrimmage. Pruitt is rotating them at different positions. We could be a dangerous team early if it starts clicking.

I’ve tried to avoid thinking about Tennessee all week. Stayed off here. Hoping things would get figured out. They haven’t.

This is without a doubt the worst team in the SEC. There is zero improvement.

Very disturbed with the offense. We won’t win an SEC game.

You people are discounting the layoff and resulting inactivity due to his blood clots. He was better prepared physically last year. He’ll play himself back but it’s not immediate. I don’t think he’ll provide PUSH anytime soon. Best to use his natural athleticism in space and hope somebody can man that spot adequately eventually.

I mentioned on the game thread--- I would like to see a change in JG's attitude. The kid is in his third year and has zero leadership skills it seems on the sideline. He just goes over and sulks/pouts ... Your players feed off the QB... He could easily go up and down the sideline like Dobbs and those before him and get your team up and jacked... but he just sits... You can read the emotion/frustration all over his face. NOT impressed, and don't have the time or the patience for that crap in year three here.

This is an important year for us and he's not doing anything to help. The mental and emotional side of the game is just as important as the physical. He is doing fine throwing and reading the D, but I'd almost sit the kid for being a baby at this point.
