If there’s any good news UF missed almost as many and others against cup cakes. That being said we need to shore up our own stuff.

Tackling is a Saban special. Pruit will tighten up this stat. It will get better this year, especially against weaker opponents. Over the next couple of seasons, it will show against every opponent.

Yep, I keep hearing Abernathy and Kongbo on other shows as well. I believe Kongbo had 1 tackle vs WVU. Seems like that should be higher.

We’ve always been a poorly tackle team.

Hopefully that gets cleaned up.

Those #'s fit the more guilty parties for sure.

Tackling is perhaps the hardest to correct, it will probably take different players to significantly improve this stat.

I'd like to see the stats from last year, but we rarely saw a big hit.

Well I'm glad we have a reason for sucking that is correctable as opposed to just being slow or having a terrible DC.

Yes, let’s hang our hat on that. I seriously hope we see better on Saturday, or hopefully, improvements

Kongbo and Warrior need to change their last names.

Kongbo sounds like a cross between King Kong and Rambo.....with a name like that you should be a legit bada$$ who eats quarterbacks for breakfast.....or at least make your own beef jerky.

Warrior....well.....you get the picture.

With either one of those names, Chuck Norris should be checking under his bed at night for you.

Instead, they look like a couple of ballerinas trying to tackle. Cowboy up fellas.

Frankly the fact that Florida missed 18.9% of their tackles against a lower division team ranked #195 in the Sagarin rankings, whereas we missed 20.3% of our tackles against a top 25 team with an outstanding offense, gives me some hope for our game against FL. Even if they did play their second team much of their second half, that is really bad. If FL doesn't get much improvement, Jordan and the receivers could have a field day against them. Missouri didn't do that well either.

Should probably take into consideration the number of personnel that Florida played on defense, vs how many UT played...

Gonna take more than 1 off season to fix Butch's below average high school coaching as well as his yoga and pilates training program. Our team has had 1 off season of real, college level training and coaching. None of our veterans know what to do either so they can't help the younger guys along either. Every single player on the roster is back in sec football 101.

Abernathy 4 missed tackles, Warrior 2, several with one. Safeties with six led the way.
