Along the offensive front, Tennessee is obviously being forced to make some changes following the season-ending injury to Brandon Kennedy. With Kennedy out for the year, Ryan Johnson slides to center with Riley Locklear backing him up, and Jerome Carvin getting some center reps as well. Will Friend has also repped Drew Richmond some at guard. Jamir Johnson has worked some at right tackle. At right guard, Carvin has worked in there as well as Chance Hall. Helton and Friend played four different offensive line combinations last Saturday and expect that to continue this week.
- VQThe interior guys played better though, and the staff continues to have high hopes for JUCO transfer Emmitt Gooden. One source said the junior makes more plays than any DL on the roster in practice, but routinely struggles with consistency. Look for freshman DL Kingston Harris, John Mincey and Kurott Garland to see snaps on Saturday. Greg Emerson could see some action as well.
they took a misstep in the launch because it relayed an inaccurate ad campaign. It launched as if the events of Kaep was the actual subject rather than the examples they used. I still believe they could have picked a better face but hes not the actual subject so it's not too divisive. jmo.It really is. And as a complete ad it tells an amazing story.
Honestly nike hit a grand slam.
Super smart PR move.
