Yes I would throw the ball if I was down 38-0 at halftime.

Their offense isn’t predicated on throwing the ball though. It’s GT lite.
If you’re trying to win then yes. They weren’t. They were there for a pay day. They don’t throw the ball ever. Florida knew that. And yet gave up 5.2 yards per carry it over 200 yards rushing to them.

Just rewatched the first half. Ryan Johnson was easily the worst lineman. He was bad. Richmond whiffed a few times on run plays.

Abernathy is a missed tackle machine

Maybe it's just one game on Ryan. I wrote an article about his wv performance a couple days ago after going back through the film the first time and then yesterday after posting Freaks guideline on respecting the players I realized I couldn't post that article. I think he was interviewed twice after the game, once with Tim Priest and then when the players met with the media. My only take away was his comment, “We take pride in the way we play on the OLine”. I was baffled. Priest interviewed DWA and I thought Dom might actually deck him. Bituili I thought was actually going to cry. He was very emotional. Ryan was in another world.

CSU had 5 total yards with 1:30 left in the 1st half. I think they’ll be alright

I’m cautiously optimistic that we won’t be worrying about the offense very much this year. The defense otoh..........

Based on the WVU game, I'm actually thinking the opposite. I think the defense will settle down when it doesn't have to face a Heisman candidate QB. An offense that gets 300 yards and averages 4.8 yards per play against that defense though, has me worried. Those #s are almost identical to what the offense averaged last year.

The only good news to me is it's only 1 game. Plenty of time to get better on both sides of the ball.

Listening to the RTI podcast, and they’re going through the 2016 class.

Holy bust city...

I think there's merit to what you are saying about the offense because Pruitt said he's going to have to get more involved in the offense.

I can't get over the sheer amount of players that busted vs what they were ranked coming in. In fact, I'm pretty sure I've never seen it before. Seems mathematically impossible lol.

Grades based off what site? Please don’t say PFF
I’m really not sure man, saw it on VQ, but you’re probably correct. Grades aside, the guy was horrendous 90% of the time he was on the field. Yeah, he tried really hard, I guess, but he looked like a HS LB playing against college kids. I’ll never forget him riding that kid like a donkey down the field for like 7 additional yards. I was lmao

That’s why we shouldn’t second guess Pruitt for taking guys that he’s put hands on at camp
