I see people throwing out that we should beat Missouri. Did they lose a lot of players or?? They curb stomped us

I think mostly based on Dooley being their OC. I think OC is s much better position for Dooley, and I think they still have talent and lock is pretty darn good. Hopefully being later in the season and at home helps us.

We need to find a pass rush over the next few games to be able to finish out the year with some wins. I think if the Offense can find the rythym they had in a few drives last Saturday, they could be pretty good. We have talent on offense. We need the defense to really come around quickly.

Yeah I’m guilty of thinking it’s just a development issue and not a talent issue but it is both. And by a lot more than I thought possible. WVU is a good team no doubt. But I think there are at least 4 other teams on our schedule that would beat them. Having said that, from what we have seen from Pruitt so far including recruiting, game management, and response after the game, we gone be aight eventually.

The game setup worked perfectly, by the way. Thanks again!

There is potential to take a giant leap forward as a program in 2020 or 2021. The freshmen forced into the fire over these next two years will be veterans and we will have senior JG in 2020, or a more developed Shrout at QB.

Fans need to be patient this year and next though. It's going to be growing pains. Staff needs to continue to recruit at a high level for their scheme, and I'm confident in their ability to develop them.

TIME...

Why don’t we start calling it dinosaurs then?

Second year is always the jump year. We may go 4-8 or 5-7 this year but 2019 we should see serious improvement in just about every facet of the program. I know this sucks right now but if you believe Pruitt and this staff are the ones to get us back, then the climb is going to be fun to watch. We should see noticeable improvement just about every week as the "Butch" is beaten and coached out of these guys. Just my .02

Broken tackles are a symptom of crappy blocking and “winging it” by the RB. The kid is great, but we don’t need him breaking records for hits taken/broken tackles every game. We need to create holes with the OL, and he needs to hit them. Instead of snapping 3 ankles and trying to run through unblocked defenders, he needs to hit the hole the OL creates. If he does this, he might only have to break 1 tackle for a long gain. JMO
However, I’m very impressed with the kid. Jordan just can’t keep dishing out licks like that all year in the SEC without taking some toll on his body.

I’m cautiously optimistic that we won’t be worrying about the offense very much this year. The defense otoh..........

When you watch this and Florida’s OL remember this is an FCS team that’s 0-20 vs FBS competition and tell me we have no shot against them at home

Haha. Florida gave up 200+ yards rushing to Charleston Southern????

Florida only had 400 yards of offense???

Last year Mississippi State only allowed 50 yards to those guys.
