If we give Pruitt the same patience and faith that Clemson gave Dabo..he will succeed. I believe that. I think he is a better pure footbaw coach than Dubbo.
I think the Clemson program would be a realistic model of what we could expect Tennessee to be in the future under Pruitt. Stack top 10-12 classes on top of another, and have a coaching staff that can consistently evaluate and develop that talent, which I think we have. Pruitt himself will develop as a head coach with each year that goes by. The more I think on it, the more I think this rebuild is going to take more time than I initially thought. Yes I think we'll be around the 7 or 8 win mark next year at least, but I think it's going to be year three and four before we can really expect to get serious momentum in this league.

Before the season started I said I would watch this team with one expectation: improvement throughout the year. I bought into the off-season hype and started to think we could win 8 games (suppose a miracle could still happen). Now I’m back to that initial mindset. Im thinking itll make things much more bearable.

I've got bad news fellas. This rebuild is going to take longer than we hoped, and should in no ways be compared to Kirby.

2020 is the earliest you are going to potentially see what you are looking for.

2019 will be improvement, but still probably 7-8 wins.

I'd take 8 wins today for 2019 season. Looking at that schedule its completely reasonable too.

2019 we play 3 non conference cupcakes plus BYU. Ky, Vandy, and Mizz without Lock. That should easily be 7 wins at a minimum
