It's never as good or as bad as you think and VQ is a perfect example of that. Most of camp it was sunshine and ice T. Now it's gloom and doom. I have learned to pay very little attention to what nerds with computers have to say after seeing 10 minutes of warmups in practice. You have 4 guys that woudnt know how to put on a helmet Much less know what they are seeing in those 10 minutes

Agree they feed to the masses. They just act like it's all bad and that west Va didn't earn anything themselves. Maybe west va is just better than everyone thought and we are further behind than we thought. In 2 wks they will be pumping sunshine again if we crush the next two teams and look really sharp doing it.

Timing sucks. If Pruitt and staff were here st time this staff prob is all over Hayden, jacob phillips, jacoby Stevens and the AM linebacker from Nashville. As they fit our current scheme. They probably pass on theninstate guys we signed for most part

I thought Kongbo at one point was reluctant to gain weight and play DT? Am I remembering that correctly?

Yes and honestly that small stretch where he actually seemed to buy in to playing DT is the only time I can remember seeing him make plays. I still don’t think he has the quickness to play OLB but I hope I’m wrong and he gets better as the season progresses.

Embarrassed? Yes, because that's where this program is right now, as much as many fans don't seem to want to believe it. I was at the game on Saturday, and I can't tell you how many fans thought that a 4-8 team was going to roll over an experienced team with a great offense.

Rational fans take note that this is a competent and experienced staff, and better days are ahead. So yes, we are drinking the Pruitt koolaid. However, it's not going to be fixed this season or next.

It's not an experienced staff by any means? Zero OC experience and zero HC experience? I like these guys and everyone should be behind them. But we should call balls and strikes like we see them instead of saying a player is soft or a crybaby. It's not a good look for a soph RB to leave after 1 week. Rumor that more or leaving would look even worse. Sky's not falling but I have no idea why people think Pruitt can do no wrong already after we were just burned by the last guy lol.

Did just have an interesting convo with a rational wvu fan. Said the weather delay hurt us bad, momentum was switching, and Vols were figuring it out. Said Wvu coaches used the time to scheme, and UT coaches used the time to coach the players up.
He said our freshman corners were our only real downfall. Agreed that the game was much closer than the score indicated.

If there is one spot where almost everyone agrees we looked pretty good, it's RB. We know that Chandler can be good, Jordan looked great, London got some tough yards, and Banks looks like he's going to do some good things.

Maybe, just maybe, the 5th string guy sees that his future is very limited here.

I think it's crystal clear now that VQ is 100% FOS with their fall camp reports. There is literally nothing of value you can take from any of their preseason info.

It really irritates me how they pump the team up and then when we fall flat on our faces we get all these reports about how bad our talent is and how this isn’t getting fixed any time soon.

Players who haven't earned PT but think they deserve it anyway have the kind of attitude this staff is trying to eliminate. Some players lose the attitude and sometimes, the team needs to lose the player.

Also what are your thoughts on unleashing JJ Peterson on kickoff duty? Just let him go smack somebody, then head to the bench, hydrate, and just pump iron on the sideline while he waits.
