No, I'm on the "they are garbage too" train. We can win and frankly we need to win that game. I didn't see enough today to make me think we have no chance. Stay healthy through these next two and lets see what happens.

We had a record breaking losing season last year, and Pruitt has to rebuild from that. Seems like these guys bought in, and it's a work in progress. As for our conference, everyone in SEC played cupcakes but Auburn, Bama and us. This year as we rebuild, I am interested in how we will play against teams in SEC not named Alabama, Georgia and Auburn. (I also would not be surprised if WV is a top ten team and Grier is a Heisman contender)

Just got home. All I have to say right now is (and I know I’m painting with a broad brush here) WVU fans are trash. Loud. Obnoxious. Trash talking. And for no reason too.

Anyway.... crappy opening to the Pruitt Era but there were a lot of good that I saw. We are rebuilding. We aren’t as bad as the score indicated. We will get better.

Seriously doubt we lose another game that bad the rest of the year.

The handwringing from our fans is obnoxious. 7-5 was always the goal. (Other than just making a bowl game) Beat Florida who is not near as good as wv and it’s still possible. This team can get better in the next two weeks

I’m still not ready to say WV is a top team based off this game.

Whip their ass? No probably not. But they’re in the same ballpark as us talent wise and it will be a winnable game, especially being in Neyland. Gonna come down to how much Pruitt grows as a coach these next couple of games IMO.

The defensive line is everything in College football. Our front puts us more on par with Missouri and Kentucky. We will get our @$$ whooped from Florida to the Carolina game. If you gave Auburn our Defensive line, Washington would have beaten them by 40.

Here’s the thing. We have a young secondary. Going to be some bumps and bruises but 2 years from now they may be dominant. I’ll take my lumps now. Still hoping for 7-5. JG played well. Running game looked pretty good. WV after watching them is right there with Bama, Uga, and Auburn as our toughest games. They have a good team.
