I could sit and argue with you point for point, but what would it accomplish? Saying the young man should of had his academics in order before this recent drama is in no way a judgement. It's a statement of the responsibility he has for the children he helped bring into this world, He made decisions that had adult consequences. I'm glad he now has his affairs in order, and I hope he has a bright future, both in the classroom and on the field.

I don't disagree with you regarding his academics being in order; however, there is probably more to the story than we may know.

There is a lot of blame that can be shared on this one. It did not warrant some of the ridicule he received in this thread or in others. A lot of Drama also to consider.

Privacy regarding his entry and clearance by NCAA may have warranted additional services. For Example, Dyslexia, would required the University to provide special services to meet the student needs. The NCAA would want to ensure the plan was in place and meeting the requirements of a special needs student.

Unfortunately, this thread and others have made a ton of assumptions possibly without knowing all the facts.

He's in and it is legal so some of the negative posters and trolls need to get over it. Geez

Many fans don't get that. If you have a couple good coverage LB's you can do a lot more with your scheme. Which is what Dillon Bates was supposed to be, and apparently is not since he doesn't play.
