I like how we showed up in the 2nd Q.

1Q was a cluster. But to be expected.

The coaching is showing up.

Let’s see if we can keep it up. If we can hold them and consistently move the ball we will win.

A few in person observations...

- O line has settled in a bit
- JG looks more confident
- Need to get creative to get to Grier in 2nd. Not Mayfield elusiveness but pretty elusive
- D playing bend don’t break at times
- The delay helps their D as they were gassed at end of half

WVU has the momentum though. It's slight but still there. If it's heavy rain then it will help UT. IMO

I thought it was shoulder injury the way he was favoring it. announcers said ankle

We are finding our identity today in this game. We held off WVU's 2-min plan for 3 points. That's a win in my book. Our last drive needed to close with points, but I think next half will be different.

For those asking, they said during game that Ty is out for the duration.

I don't think the delay necessarily helps them; the defense was going to have plenty of time to rest anyway given that last drive and half time.

We can win this. Can't wait to see the second half adjustments.

If we end up winning this game I think it'll by purely outcoaching them. WVU has the better football team IMO.

Big mo is up for grabs. Our defense needs to come out and make a play. Feel like that first possession is critical if we're gonna stick around.

Although I'm super interested to see how our passing game develops. Feel like we've got plenty of big play ability we haven't even seen yet.
