'18 GA LB JJ Peterson (Tennessee signee)

Let’s be honest.... he’s a true freshman who hasn’t done anything with the team thus far. If he contributes literally anything this year, I’ll be shocked.

You need some crow too. Haha. Good post though.
I’ll take a serving if any is left, my feelings toward Propst hasn’t changed tho. Something to ponder, Saban is great at controlling the narrative, I’d be shocked if they literally found out late today from the NCAA. Very good PR move by Pruitt.

I know he is very much disliked now, but Butch having recruits go public with their commit after a loss early in his tenure, was actually very smart. It kept the perception positive on what was building. On JJ, I need a fork...

Your opinion on child bearing has little to nothing to do with anyone else’s lives. Did his grade issues come first or his children? Has he been having to work in addittion to school and football to provide for his children? Did he have family that could help support him im caring for his children? You don’t know but still feel the need to cast judgement.

Not to mention he actually did take care of his business and the only excuses being made were by fans (not J.J.) that don’t believe anonymous posters judging a kid based on their own morals is an at all respectable thing to do. Especially during the period where all J.J. could do was wait on the NCAA.

I could sit and argue with you point for point, but what would it accomplish? Saying the young man should of had his academics in order before this recent drama is in no way a judgement. It's a statement of the responsibility he has for the children he helped bring into this world, He made decisions that had adult consequences. I'm glad he now has his affairs in order, and I hope he has a bright future, both in the classroom and on the field.

I just think we need to push kids more for their educational opportunities than just using them to win some high school football games. But you keep running with the herd instead of comprehending my post. Most players don’t end up making a living playing in the NFL.

This. JJ is not unique in his academic struggles. Every year there are kids that struggle to make it in. What good is the free ride football may give them if they can't qualify for it academically? More emphasis should be put on helping these kids meet academic standards so they can get that shot.
