Here’s my rant for the day.

f*** ESPN. Get so tired of their BULLSH*T. They listed all the new coaches at “notable” schools. And didn’t mention UT at all.

If there was another station that showed the games like ESPN, I would NEVER turn on those clowns.

Thanks and have a great evening

GO VOLS

I supervise a night shift, work til 9:30pm weeknights. I was following /r/cfb game threads last night before leaving and so many comments from UCF fans about how their WatchESPN app was screwing up.

BILLION DOLLAR CORPORATION UNDER THE LARGEST MEDIA EMPIRE (DISNEY) and they can't even play a freaking video. Anytime I try to even watch highlights, the ad buffers perfectly and then the video is 90's re-re-re-recorded VHS quality.

EAT. THE. RICH.

Yeah I never wish any company to fold, but I hope they go freaking bankrupt. It’s been that way for years, they love to find ways to take digs at UT.

They just showed the year in review and of course they show the “bird at Bama”.

Wish another network would create a station that was non stop sports and hired all the great journalists that ESPN fired.

The Athletic picked up a lot of them

JJ is the best player on our team other than Smith when he’s on
Seems you and me are the only ones who see and think this. To me, JJ has the potential to be the best football player on the field...anytime.
Very much in agreement, sir.

Because not only did they keep their entire coaching staff together, but they're bragging about the continuity of the staff... the staff that coached their crap defense to give up 300 yards on the ground to Kansas in their 4th game of the year.

We replaced our camp counselors with teachers and doers.

We're looking to improve, they're looking to ... stay the same?
Yeah I'm sure they're looking to stay the same and not improve. I'm sure they won't be improved from their last squad. Keep gleaming at that pie in the sky.

It's not like I'm rooting for a mom-and-pop shop to fail.

ESPN is a prime example of our merger-and-acquisition economy, were the biggest fish eat the second- or third-largest fish and the customer gets shafted with a crappier product, despite all the BS ad campaigns.

Everything about ESPN has become a joke. FS1 was supposed to compete, but basic cable packages only include ESPN, you have to pay extra for Fox Sports/CBS Sports (at least in my area). They're too busy fixing the game with exclusivity contracts than trying to fix what's wrong with their bread-and-butter. Their commentary sucks (outside of SVP, and SECN because we're biased), and in a world where everything is going mobile/web-based, their video platform is abysmal.

ESPN could burn to the ground and I'll make the drive up to Bristol in my crap freakin' 2002 Civic to piss on the smoldering ashes.

It's that they haven't really taken any major steps to improve. We brought in a big-time coaching staff to make the most of our talent in short time. They're waiting for the same guys to look over notes and suddenly 'get it'. Keep gleaming at that cowpie on the ground.

It all comes down to definition.

I can see how the most competitive/clutch playmaker is called the best.

I can see how the most polished technique is called the best.

I think Jennings is the former, and my definition leans more toward the latter.

Yeah yeah, okay. Keep telling yourself that. You don't have to blow up a coaching staff to improve. The West Virginia team we see tomorrow won't be the same team they were last year. Neither will we, obviously. What are you going to say if Tennessee gets beat tomorrow?

Nevermind Chief. Sorry for taking the bait. Have a good one, and I hope you're not too miserable when Tennessee wins and you're proven wrong.
Listen ChismsHeadband, if Tennessee wins tomorrow I'll have to sit on my hands to keep from clapping. I'll also have a c-note coming my way.

Jennings is our 3rd best WR. That’s not an insult it’s just the truth.

The Hail Mary was a great play in TN history but it’s a Hail Mary. His other claim to fame is “beating” taber on a double move, which isn’t really beating a corner imo. Taber just guessed (which rightfully so, we threw that deep comeback constantly). Not taking away from Jj Bc i love him as a player but that is just the way i see it.

I think JJ does a lot of things solid but nothing special. I’ve said before he’s a Tight end trapped in a WRs frame.

He’s super hard nosed and Team first which is why he will probably be in kick off coverage tomorrow.
