'18 GA LB JJ Peterson (Tennessee signee)

raynoch was faster. AJ was more physical imo. AJ kind of ran upright and stiff. but he could lay the wood, and effort was never his problem.
Raynoch was VERY physical, to the point of knocking himself out.

dunno. when they lilned Leonard Little up as an OLB, he was freaky fast....that guy could get off the ball. he didn't always arrive at the right spot lol, but when he did...man.

athletic LB's under Chavis weren't really an issue. they were all pretty quick, good laterally. varying degrees of "chase down" speed...but i don't really recall any that i wouldn't describe as athletic.
A lot of them were safeties coming out of HS.

JJ is in a car as of an hour ago. 🤔🤔
Does it give location? If not, Unless he’s flying in Michael J Fox’s BTTF car, it takes 6 1/2 hours from Moultrie to Knoxville with perfect traffic. Has ATL ever had perfect Fri afternoon traffic?

Question is, does he wait this fall and try to enroll in January? He’s treated very well in Moultrie, so not sure if he wants to the JuCo route, so reporters need to talk to JJ, not Propst. I did ask his former DC yesterday about him and he said all you can do is lead the horse to the water...

So what’s our 2018 class ranking look line without JJ?
27th on 247 with 219 points and 21 commits but to put into perspective how much better recruiting this year, UT sits at 9th this year with 20 commits and 243 points. Expect top 5 finish, still plenty of meat left on that bone for UT.

Exactly one year ago, UT was #6 in recruiting before the first game.

It seems everyone is missing the boat with this news. If Hubbs is correct in that it's in the clearinghouse houses hands then he is going to be a vol at worst in January. That's good news in my book
Yeah don't know why everyone is freaking out so much. He will be a Vol and I'm ok if that technically starts in January. I doubt he would have contributed much this year any way.

I think it’s because of the source for Hubbs, people don’t believe anything from Propst. Based on what he has said/done thus far, people have become skeptical of any updates from ‘Rush’ and all the reporters are too lazy to find a source besides Rush.

Al played both ways in HS. He was a good HS RB but his teammate Wesley Barlow was better. Al was out of this world as a safety.
I can’t find the link, but there’s a recent interview with Al where he says jokingly (paraphrasing) “if i played running back in college no one would know who Jamal Lewis is”

He doesn't have to be on campus today or even this weekend. All he has to do is enroll and register for classes.
Wilson was an all-american high school RB, but was recruited to UT to play safety. After he had trouble covering a RB or TE, a couple of times in practice, Chavis said something like, "go practice with the LBs" and the rest is history.
