Ok, I apologize. This time u didn't call the Vols quitters but insinuated that it wouldn't take much to make 'em quit.
I did not insinuate that either. I said, and I have been consistent with my feeling about this all summer, that "I don't have a lot of faith in their gumption"

If you want to hate me for saying that, go right ahead, but it's honest, and I hope that doubt is unwarranted, but right now how can you honestly say it isn't?

No, I have no idea what you're trying to say. But you did literally say, that I said, that I thought Joe Namath was a greater quarterback than Peyton Manning. That's false. Now you're back pedaling because you knew I had you on the ropes. Your whole spill here is confusing. You're thinking too much brother man. No big deal, GBO.
Not back pedaling at all. I stand by what I said, not to mention still standing by calling you a weird creeping troll. I see that you used the term 'literally', now go brush up on the meaning of 'figuratively'.
No matter, I'm done with it. I get a sense that most on here hate reading the conversations that you have, any thoughts that you post...and they may feel the same way about the conversations and thoughts I have, as well. I just don't want to continue trashing the place up for those that have seen, time and time again, similar conversations you have had with others. Chief, there's a reason so many have you on ignore, and it has nothing to do with you being real...in fact, it has everything to do with the exact opposite. If you wish to feel like you have obtained some sort of victory here, by "having me on the ropes", then by all means, feel better about yourself.

Because I disagree?

I'm gonna stick with 6-6 until I actually see us start 4-0. We do that, and I will obviously change my position on the number of games we win this season. But right now I really need to see how both lines hold up. If I have confidence in both OL and DL, that would go a long way in giving me more confidence in how the season goes.
That’s not how preseason predictions work.

You need to get a grip with some of this bull doo doo you're spewing. Peyton Manning is one of the top 5 quarterbacks to ever play. Joe Namath isn't. Never said otherwise. All this negativity bull hockey that folks say I spew isn't legit. Let's hear one negative thing I've said that isn't true. Sargent tried to take me earlier today and he crapped his pants attempting to do so. Evidently it goes unnoticed, but I've been extremely positive about the direction I think the program is going.
Why do you think it's gone unnoticed?

And when 7-5 or better doesn't happen....FAHR Pruitt!!! HE AIN'T THE GUY!!!😡😡😡

Amirite?

Nope, you couldn't be more wrong. I never insinuated anything of the sort. I'm not for firing anybody any time soon. Why would I want to fire Pruitt when he wants what I want-- to raise expectations, stop making excuses and start winning, not just the easy games but the ones against evenly-matched opponents.

Doesn't being constantly combative get tiring after a while?

Of course, I don't hate u for your opinions. I was just saying your posts have been negative lately and that's why u have been catching hell. I understand where u are coming from, it has been a tough 10 years or so. I just plan on giving this team and coach a chance to play a couple of games, before I doubt them at all. Of course, I'm an eternal optimist when it comes to UT football, although it hasn't done me much good lately. I think we hired the right coach and have enough talent to turn it around, right now. No, I don't think we can win the SEC East, but I do think we can win 8 games and anything less than 6 wins will be disappointing, at least, to me. That may be crazy, but like I said, eternal optimist

If we go 6-6..and you are disgusted, disappointed, mad and whatever else it was you said you were going to be in that post...

Who exactly are you going to take that out on, or hold accountable as the scapegoat? Sounds like the beginning of a "Burn the Witch" episode to me.

I was just going off what you said. When I finally felt the way you just described about Phil, Dooley and Butch...I wanted them fired...immediately.

If Pruitt doesnt have the thing obviously pointed in the right direction record wise by next season then I will be mad, disappointed and thoroughly disgusted.

There are weak excuses, and there are valid reasons..Right now there are a lot of valid reasons..whether you or Pruitt acknowledge them or not..that this season could go badly sideways.

Counter pointless hypothetical, if JG has a good game, wins, and KC doesn't play, will you be happy or sad?

According to the JG pumpers you look good while going winless. Also, you can become a leader a month after throwing a temper tantrum on the sidelines after mean Butch wouldn’t play me.
