Should, should. I was responding to you saying people were reporting every other day that he will make it in. There's not been any real reports except every few weeks a reporter says the coaches expect him to make it and a timeline from propst. The propst timeline has obviously been false. But him making it in hasn't proven false yet. A real timeline is he has to be in by next week. Then we'll know for sure. I would think if he wasn't gonna be here he would already be in juco right.

Rather odd response. I was not aware anyone on this forum thought Moultrie/CC was in another state.

However, having been RAISED in that area and played football there as well, there are significant numbers of FSU fans, particularly Thomas and Brooks counties and Auburn fans to the west of CC.

It is regrettable the point was not made more clearly.

price on swain, talking about JJ, they're having a laugh about this "saga". Price calling him a "mythical figure". says nothing will probably change, if it changes, til the 24th? kinda funny listening to them talk about it actually.

Probst should be a punchline by now. He hasn't made it by now, he's not going to make it. I would be shocked if there's anything JJ can do in a week to magically make him eligible. Best we can hope for is to get him here in January.

admittedly i just don't know any details on what the hold up is, safe to say it's probably a combination of things, and timing is probably one of them. and time isn't on his/our side i would imagine.

either way....if there's a way to get him on campus, they'll get him on campus, be it in August or January. if not, swing and miss. at least we were the ones that got the at bat.

I wouldn't bet your money JJ is showing up within the next week or so, but it seems odd that some sort of announcement isn't being made if he was definitely going to be a no-show or delayed until January. I don't know what could be gained by staying silent if you already knew...as a result, I'm holding out hope. Not betting, though...either way.

staying silent means no one knows anything one way or the other, for sure. so no need to say anything until then.

I think it means they are confident in getting him an academic redshirt but are still trying for full qualification. Otherwise he would probably already be at a juco. Imo

Well said Jake. If he gets here, he gets here...if not, oh well, can only play with the ones we got, and at least he won’t be playing against us anytime soon, if ever.
