I think it will be Deval Patrick. Two term Governor of Massachusetts, Civil rights lawyer, and current Bain Capital managing director.

Bain Capital is the debble that made Romney rich so good luck getting democrats to swallow that.

He's got a pretty progressive resume as governor to fall back on, as well as being a minority civil rights lawyer + Harvard grad.

He'd be a tough foil for Trump

I only know Biden and She who wants to run with fake heritage. I assume the rest are either mix race, gay, mixed race and gay, white and gay, white but a cuck and race apologist who once experimented with their sexuality and wrote poems about it, and/or/probably raised by a single female parent.

All of these "categories" are still better than a 70+ year old male that gets spray tans, tweets more than a preteen (that types in all CAPS when he gets angry and his little feelings hurt), thin-skinned, egomaniac, that has to say things like "Your favorite president" to make himself feel better. Who happens to be a cuck to Putin.

You still don't get it, most people don't care how old, how tanned, how many tweets. If you care about these issues and conspiracy theories fine, its your right, vote like it. The rest of us will concentrate on the issues. No one for open borders or anything close to that will ever be elected president again and that will take 2nd position to the economy, which eliminates socialists. We will vote for anyone who runs, anyone, when opposed by an open borders socialist. Your party will keep losing until they understand this, fine with me.

What the hell do you call Donald Trump's $12 billion bail out of the farming industry to cover losses from retaliatory tariffs due to a policy his administration implemented, if it's not socialism? Restricting trade and then allocating federal budget money to cover losses in the private sector that occur as a result, has nothing to do with capitalism that's for sure.

It's socialism. What I can't figure out is why the usual socialist suspects aren't giddy about it.

I agree. Democrats shouldn't have a problem with it but... it's also just as strange that Republicans aren't up in arms over it. Can you imagine the outcry if a Democratic President did this? "We're a socialist country now! IMPEACH!" It would be mass hysteria from the right.

Trump just put an entire American industry on welfare (at least temporarily) as a result of his own policy.

I don't get it either. I loathe public socialism...no surprise to you, I'm sure. Rs and Ds aren't as dissimilar as the partisans believe.

2020: Oddsmakers Favoring Kamala Harris to Win Dem Presidential Nomination

Top oddsmakers have Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) as the early favorite to win the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination.

According to a Wednesday evening report in the San Francisco Chronicle, on Oddshark, “Harris has surged into a tie with Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders for the best Democratic odds to win the 2020 presidential election.” The report also notes that Oddschecker, which compares betting odds across various sites and sportsbooks, gives Harris “9/2 odds to win the Democratic nomination, followed by Joe Biden with 11/2 odds.”

President Donald Trump, though, is still the favorite to win reelection, with Oddshark reportedly giving him +140 to win in 2020 while Oddschecker gives Trump 11/8 odds.

To win her party’s nomination, the freshman California Senator who recently said she would not rule out a 2020 run will need the support of black voters, especially in early primary states like South Carolina. Harris told the left-wing Netroots conference last week that when it comes to “identity politics,” Democrats “won’t be shut up” and be “silenced.”

Please, please, please let this happen.

Liz Peek: Is Trump-hater Michael Avenatti ready to run for president? His left-media allies certainly hope so!

Michael Avenatti is itching to run for president. On Friday he spoke at the Democratic Wing Ding dinner in Iowa, an appropriate setting and a rite of passage for presidential wannabes.

“Michael who?” you might ask – if you’ve been touring the outback for the past six months. Otherwise, you can’t have escaped Avenatti, who’s become a non-stop self-promoting cable news jockey and pugnacious scourge of President Trump.

The legal blowhard has made it his life’s work to bring Trump down, adopting the president’s own tactics of hardball tweeting and take-no-prisoners public combat.

That’s Avenatti’s platform – dethroning President Trump. Unhappily for the nation, that’s all he needs to lock in left-wing backing

Joe Biden 'under doctor's orders' to skip Democrat Day at Illinois State Fair, reports say

Former Vice President Joe Biden has canceled his plans to attend Democrat Day at the Illinois State Fair this week because he's "under doctor's orders" to limit his travel, state Democrats said Tuesday.

Biden, 75, was scheduled to be the keynote speaker Thursday to boost J.B. Pritzker, a Democratic gubernatorial candidate, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

“Everyone who knows Vice President Biden knows that he gives our party and our country his all, but unfortunately he is sick and is under doctor’s orders not to travel," Doug House, president of the Illinois Democratic County Chair's Association, said in a statement, according to CapitolFax.com.

Biden is done, he missed his shot.

Still think Deval Patrick will be the guy.

On another note, I hate all the "I still haven't made my decision" while all these suspected candidates are already visiting Iowa/New Hampshire and campaigning for people nationally. Just be honest with people and state your ambition.

Patrick checks off 2 of the Democrat boxes: black and gay.
