Bruin level conspiracy theory right here. You should be ashamed.Bad to think like this but does probst have an agenda here to where JJ not making it benefits him? Under current rule you can't be off field coach at a school with your players within 2 yr period. After this year it will have been beyond the 2 yr period for shamburger and blakely....
He could enroll in January but he will still need to get qualified somehow. I don’t think he can go back to high school, so some type of secondary college will be required if he doesn’t met the minimal requirements.i usually give a day or two between glances. each time, just disappointed.
i guess the good news is, if he doesn't make it in this fall, enrolls in January you just treat him like an EE for the 2019 class. and that may work out better long term.
that's assuming a lot though...lol.
oh i know, that's why i said that's assuming a lot....just as for playing this season, it doesn't appear time is on anyone's side at this point, so back up, punt and get him in here for next spring. He could enroll in January but he will still need to get qualified somehow. This whole production hasn’t been the best job application for him.Bad to think like this but does probst have an agenda here to where JJ not making it benefits him? True if he doesn't qualify to play or qualify for an academic redshirt then that would be the case. I just think if he's this close to qualifying to play then if he misses he still probably qualifies for academic redshirt and can still enroll and practice this fall, just can't play and loses a redshirt he probably wasn't gonna use.He could enroll in January but he will still need to get qualified somehow. we've been making excuses for him for a while. Usually seems that the ones where it works out you don't hear about it constantly. Its been moving goal posts so far with this kid, doesn't build trust. we had other quotes from coaches, ITT people were taking what Pruitt said at Media Days to mean Peterson would be here for fall camp. back after signing day people were thinking he would have no problem making it in for summer. Then you have Propst dropping quotes anytime he gets in front of a camera, doesn't exactly inspire confidence.Just because you made a timeline doesn't change the fact that the coaches expect him to qualify. Or that even if he isn't available to play this season, he very likely still qualifies for an academic redshirt allowing him to practice with the team this fall while he gets his grades up to qualify for next season. There are stories like Loften where they never make it in, and there are also stories where they do.
