He's definitely confident. I enjoyed his media interview last week. He gave a couple smiles while holding back some of that confidence. Can't wait to see him develop this fall and next.Taylor could start at Bama IMO. We will get to see him really do his thing for the first time this fall. Can't wait.
Many of those guys don't fit the schemes, especially the new defense. Add that to the fact that this staff is likely going to lean on the new guys and most of the guys above will be on special teams and scout teams. It's not that they're terrible players, they just don't fit in the new schemes and coaches always want to play guys they brought in over leftover guys who might have bad workout habits and been underdeveloped or w/e.
Started in 2003.Didn’t we have a joke thread that would never end years ago- like before the recruiting forum existed. I think it was a OWB thread. Could be wrong though, I was single then and spent too much time on here. Crazy to think that was 15 years ago. How old is volnation @Freak
Butler has the ability. VQ keeps saying he's overthinking things, almost too technical. He's got plenty of time to contribute. I like the kid, hope he earns some PT.Im just curious how much we can trust VQ's knowledge and understanding of this new scheme. Biscuit Bennett and Butler were both said to not be a good fit for the last scheme also.
I get the undersized LB's like Reid and Page probably never being a factor outside of sub packages or teams, however 56 and 95 are both undersized 4-3 DT's who should slot much better in this 3-4 look at the 5 Tech. It's looking like a situation where they just are not SEC level DL if they cannot get in the rotation.
Do you think shamburger starts at safety and when he slides to star in sub packages micah goes in at safety?
Couldn’t care less who wins. Just think it’s funny media get to watch 10 minutes of stretching and a little throwing and they base whole opinions on it and then work around scrimmage notes to fit what they said. If JG wins I’m all for it. If KC wins I’m all for it. I want whoever is going to win the most games this year.

LOL, its the way the NFL does it. Ncaa only counts sacks as running attempts because of archaic offenses where the qb was often tackled in the backfield on an actual running attempt.FTR, “actual completion percentage” is a silly, made up stat that nobody except for you uses.
The NFL doesn’t count sacks as pass attempts. In Troy Aikman’s first two seasons his completion percentage would have been in the negative...and they would have made a horror film based on David Carr’s!LOL, its the way the NFL does it. Tell me why it's ok that dormady hurt his completion percentage every time he wisely threw the ball away, and guarantano helped his every time he held the ball and took a ten yard loss. Which is indicative of a better qb? Which hurts your team more. Format took all of four sacks in almost as many opportunities as jg had. Jg took 26 sacks. Study of sack percentages show they often follow a quarterback around, rather than an offensive line...like Robb Johnson for instance.

Observing stretching and warm-ups can often times prove to be rather valuable...Couldn’t care less who wins.
