That prediction contained several toss-up games. If we split those we can win 8-9. Truth is everyone is spitballing. I think we'll be pleasantly surprised this year. I think we'll carry a lot of momentum into 2019. I think we get our moxie back this year.

You don't care whether we win or lose as long as it's entertaining? What's the matter with you? If Tennessee don't get the dub I'm pissed.
Of course I care the day of and the remaining week but it doesnt piss me off now. if you're still mad about that game and refuse to cherish it in the long term, that's a you problem. Get some perspective. God is great and beer is good.

That whole team is ridiculous

What I have to keep telling myself re: Alabama and Georgia now:

They can only field 11 at a time. Hopefully we'll gain legitimate depth soon enough (not just depth on paper with classes that attrition out like what the last three bozo's had). Will probably take another year or two at least.

Tennessee is just going to become an easier/better job as time passes, and it's pretty much all due to Middle Tennessee's growth. Vandy is a non-factor for most of those recruits, but Tennessee has to become relevant enough to fight off the OSUs, UGAs, Bamas, etc., of the world to lock down those kids.

I think within another 6-7 years Tennessee will be outproducing Louisiana and Alabama in in-state talent on a consistent basis. Locking down the state and adding kids from Georgia, North Carolina, and Florida is enough to keep Tennessee near top 5 in recruiting every year, provided the team is rolling and has elite recruiters on staff.

I’m not as confident as everyone else when it comes to the offensive line. I think we have 2 good players (3 if Chance Hall is healthy) in Trey Smith and Brandon Kennedy. I don’t think Richmond, Tatum, or Johnson have shown that they can compete in the SEC so far. I hope coaching was the problem, but we will not know for sure until the season starts. I have the same concerns for the defensive line. We have guys that were good recruits, but they have not shown much.

I still like Johnson’s upside. Not sure if he’s ready yet.

Who knows with Richmond. He has the tools to at least be decent. Not sure why he’s struggled so badly this far.

I’m not sure Tatum ever becoms the kind of player we need at OT. He’s added some size, but he doesn’t seem to carry it that well. And he’s still not big enough, IMO. If we get Wright in addition to Wanya his window probably closes, IMO.

Why would I cherish a 2013 defeat to the Georgia Bulldogs? This ain't Vanderbilt dude. We don't cherish losses at Tennessee.

Alabama has an all world defense and an All world OL every dang year..

We have neither. We are going to have to take chances, and be creative to score enough points, and run enough clock to support the defense.
If you're looking for silver linings we aren't going to win a championship this year, so we don't need all world anything.

We need enough to beat vandy, KY, MO And 1 or 2 other teams, not including the 3 ooc cupcakes.👍
