Please don't take everything he says as gospel. He says he hopes JG wins the job, but he does not really hope that. He has been on the KC bandwagon since he committed to us. KC may end up being the starter, but if you're basing all of your gloom and doom on Hank's opinion from one scrimmage, then I would ask you to consider the source and let it play out.

Not just what he said, but what the service guys said they heard also. It kind of lines up

I don't think he's a liar. I think he prefers game manager QBs and his opinions are maybe skewed by that preference.

We'll see. I'm sure a lot of those guys will play against cupcakes, but I'm not sure how many meaningful snaps most of those guys will get unless we have some injuries on the DL. Seems like the staff is pretty set on Tuttle, Johnson, Phillips, and Gooden being the top 4 guys. Haven't heard too much promising from the rest of the DL though. That's to be expected from most of the freshman, of course. But it's disappointing that Butler and Bennet haven't been able to make more out of their opportunities thus far.

Yeah, I'm very disappointed, so far, with Butler. I thought he would be a star. Just a soph, tho, has plenty of time. On one of the practice reports last week, I heard a Bennett mention and it was good

I think the whole RF accepts that Hank is not a liar about what he does. He may have crappy opinions about what he sees, but I think almost all of us believe he is truthful.

Yeah, he did so well at it, that he never got benched. Oh.....wait.......

He went 11-2 as a starter with a pretty good TD to turnover ratio. That's what the coaches are looking at here. JG is probably more likely to make the big play, but he's also more likely to turn the football over. With this team, we need a guy who can assure we'll be kicking the ball at the end of every possession.
